Hi! I am new to India Forums and am trying to post a fanfic. However, I can't seem to get beyond the update stage. It simply won't update no matter how many times I try. What do I do?

I can see your story in the FF section. can you please tell me what other issues you are facing?

This was actually one of the issues, since it wouldn't show up that the story had been posted. I also wanted to know whether I've done it properly-- added the right tags, posted properly etc. Since you can see it, could you tell me?

Also, how do I request for a banner? The link I click on takes me to the discussion thread where we can request banners, but I can't post a reply there. There is no option for me.

Hi! Can you actually read my fic? I opened it today from a different tab, but while I could see the fic, I couldn't find where to click on and read it. Can you see the text?

you haven't changed the chapter status from draft to active. Just like you changed the story's status, you cna change the chapter's status

step 1: Open the chapter in the index and click on Edit

Step 2: Change the status from drafts to active and hit the black button next to "Update Status"

I did what you said and it worked to the extent that the fic is now showing one chapter, but the chapter itself isn't showing up even when you click on it from the table of contents. Do you think I should delete the fic and repost? I can't understand what's going wrong.

You needn't delete. Just go to edit the chapter (like you did before to change it's status) and paste/type the contest of the chapter in the box under "summary"

And once you are done, click on "update"
