ab main kya bolu, actually abhi is not wrong come to think of it , so is akshu... akshara is a sweet and loving person and she loves her family which is most important it is in nature of any mother to protect the weaker child and aaru since the beginning has been the weakest link with her attitude and anger so it was natural for sirat to protect her because she knew akshu is strong and can face difficulties but aaru can just get angry and hasty decisions
Now coming back to the story, Akshu took the decision to give into who ever aaru loved and she decided to sacrifice her love, but she also decided for abhi that aaru is much better for him was wrong on her part and now if abhi is asking her an answer he has a right to know
Here the only person to be blamed is aaru who doesnt understand that life is not just about getting what you want esp love doesnt happen because he is a topper and you are also one but looking at things its better that akshu elopes with abhi as she owes it to him and aaru suffers the repercussions of her stupidity and confusion she has created.
