Matar kachoris another one of our famous dish, call it mattar puri. So its usually made in cold season. Will share the recipe tomorrow.

Oh I dont like sewaiyyan but rice kheer is my favourite sweet dish, followed by Gazar ka halwa.

Now I am hungry. Asmi and nethraa what r u doing 😋🙃. I don't like rice kheer much I prefer phrini. And matar so somasa I was going to make last week. But then couldn't do it. Should try soon.

What is the difference between kheer and phirni?

Kheer u cook as it is . In phrini u dry the rice and then u grind the rice to rava consistency. And then u put it in boiling milk .

Use aata istead of maida, bengalis eat all puris made of maida. Also you can make paratha instead of puri for a healthier option with the same dough. Same goes for daal puris. Also we dont use sugar.

We usually boil mattar, I have given you two recipes, you can use any or combination.

You read my mind. I wanted to ask you about dal puri. I think my kids would like it.

You can again make parathas out of it like aloo or puris, whatever you prefer. We make both depending on the season and health priorities.
