Well if her family truly love her, they will believe her, they will see through all the lies Arohi said to get her Alliance and how she has manipulated Akshara to bend to her wishes. I get that the confession happening before the wedding is kinda wrong, but look, it took abhi to bet on his life, for akshara to come and confess her love. Imagine the guilt that poor girl is carrying on from childhood and no one understood her trauma. Its a big step on Akshu's side to go against Arohi

It would be nice if this happens, but I genuinely don't find abhi suitable for akshara.

I think maybe from Cvs pov thats the first step, they have to redeem and justify Abhi anyway. So maybe its his way of making her realise the value of her own happiness, and later on when he will see her perspective he will understand her pain and dilenma better
