They wanted to have angst before confession. The track in itself is not bad - if you look at the bare essentials. But the plot needed to have more sense and much less cringe. But Vanku is Vanku.

They're not even showing angst. At one point, both Neil and Ayesha were bad. Ayesha picked up...her exit could've been so much better if Neil had better expressions than looking pained all the time, regardless of the situation.
Six feet distance, terrible dialogues, these are the opportunities other shows would use to show the intensity. And it could've been intense. They made it look like yet another fight.
Asmi - take rest. I had it last year...mild symptoms but extreme exhaustion.

Oh yeah....Ayesha picked up well...after being off in the beginning.
As for Neil, leaving out the crazy parts of the plot, atleast in his emotional scenes with Ayesha, he could have done so much better. That separation scene was so thanda...
To me it didnt even seem like their regular fight....worse...it looked like two roommates having a fallout over non-payment of dues...🤪
And the dialogues.......kaun likhtha hai bhai inke dialogues😵
Neil is gone down too much...to recover any time soon
