Abhi is struck on her no. He is not seeing more than that. He doesn't want another heart break. He is very vulnerable and emotional. So he is keeping her away. If you see him he is torn between his mom and Akshu. If his mom was there he could have got that strength to go for akshu. So he is going through that turmoil.
