I take it as a sign of the show ending because Bulti and Apu were signalled from the beginning and this is just them tying up all loose ends. I believe that is why also they shortened the Arjun and Naina track and also changed tack as you remember that Arjun was dead set against Kajol and Anurag and was going to do everything to break them up. Now the focus is only on the Stalker track and Arjun and the Chatterjees are already getting their comeuppance.

The show is ending and I think whatever Leena Gangopadhyay had wanted to show will be shown in shortcut with the stalker track taking centre stage.

I think it is because of multiple reasons, Ishita will be going for Drishyam 2 shoot as all the previous cast has committed and therefore she would want to be freed from the contract. Then Harshad unless he is completely brain-dead (which I wonder to be taking up the role of Arjun the shitbag) would also want to move on to a different role where he actually has to do something rather than just standing and posing as he has been doing in the recent episodes. Then the TRPs aren't great so the channel would also want an end to the show. Then the fact is they can stretch Priyanka the Stalker plot to only a certain extent (unless this is an attempt to copy Junoon an Old DD National show which streched one night for months on end) until it breaks like a rubber band so once that ends, we will get an Anjol wedding and that would be the end.

So all in all this is just signifying the end for me. The attempt at trending by the Anjol fans failed again. There is a limited number of fans and the new ones that join in get disenchanted due to the Stalker Priyanka.

Kajol is still holding on to some character traits but Anurag has lost out all the liking and respect I had for his character. He is acting the loser completely. And it can also be seen by the cast not celebrating 100 episodes completion in any grand way. They got a cake sent by a fan and Ishita posted a pic. It maybe due to COVID restrictions or could be that they might celebrate later but all in all the signs I think are there.

Have a slightly different take from yours. Show is mostly not going to last beyond March but makers I don’t think are taking it seriously and therefore getting Apu Pulti marriage to tie up loose ends

My hunch is that- this show is apparently based on some Bollywood movie on an older sister ensuring her siblings’ lives are set before getting married herself and during this time there’s one dude who waits for her anyway. Think they’re trying to pull off something similar, maybe not all the Mukherjee siblings but at least as many as they can (Naina now Apu). Either ways I guess it works because don’t see the show having a longer shelf life anyway. I just wish they had utilized the time they had better, cvs if you’re reading this please stop the Priyanka track ASAP, get Anjol married don’t keep it at the end and show some conflict between marriage and Kajol’s family responsibilities

also forgot to tell you what I read on Drishyam 2- the Hindi producers are having a conflict over it so it’s been stalled for a while, won’t start shooting until end of this year or so from what I read

Nice to know they made it to at least 100 episodes.

Bold: Ok so Drishyam 2 will be delayed that means Ishita is free to devote time to this show. I am still too happy with Original Drishyam 2 to be dissapointed about the Hindi remake being delayed.

Italics: I think it is either based on Jeevan Dhaara which had Rekha in it or it is based on Ek Vivaah Aisa bhi which had Sonu Sood. Because both movies had the heroine sacrificing her own happiness for her siblings. Marriage equals happiness in India I guess. In Jeevan Dhaara, Rekha's character ends up alone, unmarried and carrying the responsibility of her family so most likely they will go the Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi way.

And there was a scene in previous episodes if you have not seen where Apu wants to join the business or is encouraged by Kajol to join (not clear to me completely as I skip through scenes) and Kajol has offered to teach him the ropes and they also showed Chandra the studious sister talking about her studies plus doing well in exams and all, so settling of the siblings is on the cards as you said.

Show is ending & producers don't give a damm; cast & crew must be waiting fir the day they are free..for now they get paid which will help them financially but its clear the production house is not interested in any concrete ending what they will show fir next 6 to 8 weeks is beyond my imagination apart from same crap. Maybe stalker will get her own show after this

It beats me here Why everyone want the show to end and all these people working may be on a daily wages to get unemployed.Reason because not liking a track ,or characters etc..

Let the actors they may get work but a little consideration for the spot boys..make up artist ,decor people etc..How difficult it can be for them to get work in this pandemic.

A pandemic is doing havoc with people getting laid off from work which is leading to mental stress..Some countries pay for the unemployed but I don't think its same elsewhere..

If it has to end let it be the channel and production house decision..

So many rumors were there the psycho serial will replace TSBTSP..Now it's given the 10.30 slot .

March it's scheduled to end and i wish well for the show and team.

I will keep watching as this track is about to end with may be leading to the awaited track from viewers..

Oh totally, I have no regrets about whether or not Drishyam 2 is remade because the original was too top notch and I’m worried that remakes somehow usually never live up to the mark.

Bold: since we are not getting what we want from the show, here’s a bit of wishful thinking-

There’s this movie that was released on prime last year (not on prime anymore sadly), wherein it’s this girl who marries but is clear she wants no kids and her boyfriend/husband for the most part is super understanding until they accidentally get pregnant. Whilst she is adamant about the no children decision anyway (and fights against all to exercise her choice) her husband who was otherwise very supportive and progressive begins to get confused, gets angry at her etc. He never gets toxic and they do have a nice peaceful ending but it sensitively showed how even the most progressive, supportive kind of guy can expect women to stay silent/adhere to traditional attitudes

I would have loved to see an Anjol marriage and at some point, Anurag doing questionable things (not toxic, but certainly one where he somewhere for a while stops supporting Kajol and gives in to some kind of internal entitlement he may feel over her when she prioritizes the Mukherjees over the Basus) and then later redeem himself. It would have removed this too perfect image he is shown to be having, could have shown him unlearn something, and Kajol standing her ground would have been excellent to watch.

Kajol has always been called the Laxmi of the house.After her Dad's death ,she has been the one looking after the printing press and bring food on the table.The uncle it's been never shown how he contributes in the family expenses..

Now just imagine kajol leaving the Mukherjee's house and going to be the Laxmi of the Basu household..

I can foresee naina taking advantage of kajol's absence for her benefits and that brother is still too young to handle his father's business..we do know she wants power in the chatterjee's house,get back arjun's love and also needs money for arjun's business.. Naina will do anything to achieve her goals..

It seems kajol's will get her happiness with anurag but also later will have to solve her family problems..

Anurag character graph has got a little change from being the practical lonely guy to now deeply in love..We must not forget he has a good heart and ready to help.He has stood by kajol in every walk of their journey since they met in that cocktail party.. I can see his love getting doubled for kajol's once she is his wife..In my opinion as a husband, he will always stand by kajol's side and fulfill his duty as a son in law.

Anjol both bring a balance in each other's life and perfect for each other..They are facing so many ups and downs in their relationship before marriage so i won't mind to see them being a happy couple ..

Now getting a clear picture why this Bulti/Apu track is there.why Anurag is at kajol's doorstep? I think Anurag after leaving the crazy woman might meet Bulti.Might be other reason too he is there and kaushik calling police so we can expect a big drama..

Next week we can expect a wedding on the way and bringing the needed twist in the tale..

It seems its the haldi ceremony as I saw turmeric paste spread on kajol's face in the cake cutting by the casts..

I saw Bulti with sindoor , so that means wedding of Apu and Bulti has been done and over with.

I think its her birthday today and she called herself as Bulti Mukherjee

Than what haldi does Kajol has on her face ??

Is it from wedding ceremony of Apu / Bulti or is it again some kind of dream nonsense ??

So next week will be all about Apu / Bulti wedding and all the overdrama these 3 families love so much during weddings.

Oh no I forgot : a 4th family has joined the drama as well coz in the cake cutting celebeations I saw Lunatics mother and so called best friend, but the lunatic herself was missing in action....maybe busy with one of her lousy videos again

Esha I just checked the haldi photo now, my hunch is that the haldi BTS is that of the stalker, because bulti is wearing a sindoor already 🤬😱 so next to next week will probably be the stalker ka wedding functions. Oh my, if only India forums didn’t have restrictions on swearing...

edit: okay the sindoor part is not clear. Anyway we do know the stalker’s functions are happening. I’d rather see the stalker’s wedding functions and then see shit blow up on the big day resulting in Anjol marriage

Digressing here but can anyone suggest anything good on ITV other than Anupamaa, BALH2 and Dhadkan Zindagii Kii going on currently??

I don't like this post just sharing it. The fact is the failure of this show is put on Kajol's Character when Anurag's character at this point of time feels more pathetic. A user and a loser.
