Appreciation Post for you guys - Page 2

Thanks to the topic makers...

The thing is that we start of with something but that leads to something else.

I have been observing this forum since March last year..it has been always like this even worse.. Bashing actors , characters and what not... Slowly those who used to write some psychological side of the characters have gone.. They too have their patients..Shoddy direction, disjointed dialogues, editing and never ending off screen drama shoved them away..

The show itself has gone ultra negative it's hard to put up and keep you self calm.. Makers are getting right kind of reactions for a particular character which is downright disgusting...When the character itself illogical to the core we can't expect any logical posts from anyone..

As simple as that the way characters are shaped up viewers are bound to react accordingly..

Still some of the members are trying hard to keep the forum alive.. Neerja is one of them.. Love reading Nikita's os and I read kal ff..

I understand what you are trying to say Sir. The forum might not be as lively and fun it was, once upon a time but the fact that times have drastically changed can’t be denied. Earlier, Ghum had some episodes worth looking forward to. We had Sairat and there beautiful moments which were stress-busters. Good direction, writing and root-worthy characters. And voila, everything is now faded and all we are left with is a toxic and horrifyingly butchered ML who just turns worse with every passing day. People had invested their time and emotions in the show and the ship but now, 80% don’t even ship them anymore. The makers did this! They ruined everything so getting upset and ranting is inevitable, isn’t it? The bashing posts were uncountable in the beginning but now, it’s still better. People use sarcasm and humour and many, like me, have stopped watching the show altogether. There are amazing posts like Neerja ma’am’s daily updates and Niki Di’s absolutely hilarious posts and stories. Recently a role play thread was opened and we have some crazy time there.

So yes, seeing how the show is so bad and negative, the forum is still quite good. Maybe not what it was in the beginning but that’s kinda inevitable and understood!

I think one can find alternates to get rid of frustration instead of calling others or discussions negative when all they are doing according to what's happening in the show, things can be ignored if not likable, like the way many left the show. Also I think we should respect those who are making atleast those 1 or 2 posts.

Also I respect old members and missing them too as I have been visiting forum since starting itself but I don't think those members give any kind of certificate that forum is going well or not.

This is an end of discussion from my side don't want to indulge more. But yes negative is indeed a strong word to be used unless their is any harm to you personally.

Guys.. I have not read the how the whole forum or every discussion that went through... It's some 400+ pages.

There were a post I read about what sexual harassment was, it too old too but there were bomb points especially given the fact, it was filled with legal technicalities.

Second, I mostly read stories here and some character analysis posts and they were pretty good. Given the show, the art of finding silver lining was found. And I appreciated that.

I don't know how fellow members here are but some of the posts were praiseworthy.

Talking about ignoring or stopping watching the show, you could have ignored my comment too. So yes I guess no one can stop commenting on what they don't like.

I didn't say anyone is negative. I said the forum environment is. So if you want to take it personally then your wish. 😆

There are so many shows where the characters are ruined big time even worse than Ghum's but I still see the forums are so nice. When you enter you don't feel like leaving it.

Show has turned toxic...but never found forum toxic or negative....bashing takes place of actors or characters but ones who are active in the forum are respectful and friendly people...in my opinion

I am so attached to this show. I started writing about my views on the episode kinda randomly but before I knew it, became pretty much a daily staple for me. Literally its a habit now. Coming to the forum is also a habit. I love majority of the posts here and despite not knowing people personally, I feel a bond with many just by virtue of watching the same show. I love reading FFs especially and its been awesome to read some really great stories here. I love how sarcastic, sharp, witty and funny many of the people are in the forum.

Its sad that the storyline of this show is depressing/frustrating in equal parts. There was a time when we used to watch episodes on loop and rave about the scenes. Sairat was all ♥️ but now its losing charm. Mood/plot of the show will impact mood of the forum and what people write about/discuss- since we all invest in the story and the characters. Despite the sad state of affairs of the show's plot - this forum remains fairly active with many forum members keeping things fun/lighthearted/sarcastic/witty, sharing memes, jokes. Even when show is crappy, I find the forum to be engaging. Personally I am only sticking with the show thanks to my addiction, and just hoping for some divine intervention to give us back the lost charm of the show🙏

Ma’am as everyone say, you need an award for sticking to this show and saving many of the torture of watching it😆 Kudos to you for being a brain-cells saver!

I don’t know why but I never got ‘addicted’ to this show. So I don’t know how it feels like to be addicted to it. Of course, I loved SaiRat but not anymore. Tried hanging a bit only for Sai but I have given up on that too. I don’t find the forum negative. There is bashing, definitely, but given the on-screen and off-screen clownery we are served with, that much is just so understandable. The forum is still engaging and so much fun. I have found some great friends here😳

Honestly you are really lucky you never got "addicted". For me unfortunately this show is truly an addiction that I can't shake off yet. My daily posts now are truly more out of habit because its just one of those things I have now been doing everyday for several weeks that it feels incomplete to not do it. I also love to read membets reactions, discussions in those daily posts. But earlier I was bursting with excitement to share my views about the episodes but now thats gone. Part of me still roots for Sairat especially when i see older scenes/episodes but then watching the current episodes makes me cringe with disappointment.

I feel like forum reactions are a reflection of what we are served with.

When we got positive vibes from the actors, characters, when scenes were done well, there was appreciation. When they serve us poorly edited/directed/written episodes, bad acting there is criticism.
