I have the opposite theory. Most of these companies will want people back, albeit part time. As will the government due to lost revenue and loss of jobs. So many dependent economies will either die down or have to completely reinvent themselves to stay relevant. Can’t imagine majority companies asking staff to work 2+ days a week in the office and not suffering from higher than normal levels of attrition.

Thanks for the opposite theory. I hope it goes the way you are thinking. But! Industry 4.0 is all about not wanting Humans on the job, robots will take care of most of it. I think It will take around decade to implement so for now depopulation is the plan.

California is very unequal when it comes to wealth. The rich people in California are very rich(Silicon valley CEOs, hollywood stars etc) and the ones who are poor are very poor.
