I didn’t watch the entire episode I just watched the dance…in the promos it looked like Vedika was going to show Priya the video on her phone…and here in the episode it looked like the proposal was on the projector and then it was stopped before Priya could see it…

Did Vedika show her the video of the proposal?

I mean that in serials usually when they want to portray a couple in their 30s who have been married a few years they show a domesticated couple with kids (like in wagle ki duniya & kaamna), whereas when they show a couple without kids & leading a happening life when they want to convey that the couple is young & recently married.

These people actually young and recently married yaar… just not in 20s.. but in 30s.. my sil is 32, turned 33 on her wedding day and my brother is 36 turned 37 on his engagement day… I don’t see them anywhere near domesticated yet… it’s hot and happening and it’s been 1.5 years

The problem with the show is that they just show one reel of good moments and before those moments even end they start next big build up… so I don’t think even after Vedika’s exit it will mellow down anytime. It will continue like this high on drama and low on common sense.

Also, if they thought of increasing the drama quotient to improve the TRP’s then it hasn’t helped either - as TRP aunties viewership did not increase but the audience who made up the 0.7 earlier has definitely decreased hence the drop in TRP’s

I understand you point of view that's why exactly this is the reason i like that they showed 2 couples in their 30s without child. Just because someone is in their 30s doesn't mean that they are old and can't lead an adventurous and exciting life and have to have children which has been a very general dipiction of couples in 30 on tv till now. Shashi& vedika, adi&brinda are breaking stereotypes by being different and that why I like this show. It's breaking a lot of stereotypes in different ways.
