Management quota is not bad at all. It's like paid seat. You still need to word hard and get a degree. In India for engineering and medical most seats are reserved for Sc ST quota. Only 10 percent get real seats. Remaining all comes under management quota. Even I had to take paid seat but once you get it all students are same.

I'm still confused because of the contradictory responses!

In_love's explanation does make it seem like bribery but

Arohi doesn't seem to want to cheat her way in - she is completely confident she'll ace the exam and the course. But then I do wonder why she was so shady about asking for the money. The way the Goenka's spoil her if it was legit they'd give her the money - she could've said the course was for after the marriage... (she seems ok with telling those types of white lies🤣)

Anyway, Arohi is a cardboard villain so Akshara could've had the same realization over Arohi, I dunno, stealing herself a midnight snack or something...

I will not say it's bribery. She didn't apply on time so definitely she's doesn't qualify for normal quota. This is done fully professionally as university fees. But the way they showed in serial was totally wrong. It was not a big deal for Aarohi to hide this from family. I saw lot of people in YouTube comments also bashing writers for that. The writers made it look like bribery which was so wrong

Frankly akshus talk on jhoot and keeping secrets from abhimanyu is so hypocritical that I can't see arohi wrong from her perspective..akshu asking her tumhe nai pata tum kya galat kar rahi ho, behen I also didn't understand how is arohi wrong and you , jhoot ki devi , is right ..its OK if she wants to do MD ,n no big deal in paying bribe , quota seats is from quota so she is not taking away the rights of someone more deserving . Infact it's as easy as telling harsh to shift the shadi date for a day..bekar ka complication create kar rakha hai.

Akshu is writing the destiny for the three of them and saying meri kismat mein nai hai abhimanyu. Plz stop akshu😆 Mazak bana ke rakha hai . Akshu will decide who will abhimanyu marry, akshu will decide arohi galat hai ya nai and whether she should marry abhimanyu. ❌ galat ye hai .

Yaar they will paint Arohi as black or grey as they need to... I so wish they could've made her more real with flaws but also with ambitions and intelligence. I haven't seen a professional ambitious female lead on Indian shows before.

And in India aaj Kal every seat is management quota especially for medicals. Every college wants to make money . Unless your topper or in special categories then only you get in normal quota. And writers ne to aise Bata diya management quota is crime. Writers Bhai aap apne bacho ko admission karvao then you will know 😂😂

BAAD JIJAJI doesn't cares about his saali Arohi... He wants to get married to Akshu🤣

This is my personal opinion. Arohi is one the most interesting character in the show and for her first big shot, the actress is showing much potential. She is very ambitious and knows what she wants. The writers has shown her as a grey but promising character. This is rare to see in ITV. I hope the writer will show us different layers of her character but I am not holding my breath. I also find Akshara and Abhi to be quite hypocritical. Akshara can be quite judgmental but tends to forget her own lies. Abhi can become so toxic when things do not go according to his wishes. Running away to get married will make Akshara seem very OOC. They need to develop the characters more.

But arohi knows that abhi loves akshu and even akshu has feelings for abhi right? She also knows abhi has agreed to this marriage for his familys sake because they think she saved abhi right?

So it's not that they are using an innocent arohi, she knows what she is doing .

Also isn't arohi misusing abhis trust on her by keeping the fire incident a secret.

Akshara will be mahaan and arohi vamp.Even in marriage promo, akshara is saying that she needs to save three lives, wouldn't it have been better, that she confronted arohi and both families saying she loves abhi and its she who saved him, that she hid this fact for her sister? 😉
