Imlie had warned Ved and he had respected that warning or so she thought. Ved had gone beyond revenge, he had lost sense to think properly.

He kept distance on purpose, he has to wait before he executes his plan.

Imlie met Ahana and Pihu for the promised weekly party they had decided long back. It finally came into play.

Pihu was sweet person just like Ahana. They gossiped about movies, actors and random conversations. Ahana broke news that

she was pregnant so they celebration became more special. They started to plan a baby shower for Ahana-they each decided to distribute responsibilies.

Imlie was designated shopping of decorations her area of expertise , she gleed happily.

Aryan called that night, Imlie shared the news of Ahana and told him about their plans. He was glad Imlie had finally settled well in the marital life.

"Aur.."he asked softly. "Aur i want just eat you up i miss you that much" she replied knowing this reply will shock Aryan.

"Whaa..wow..you little jungli billi wait till i get back" he kissed her through the phone.

"I wanted to tell you something by the way" she decided to tell him about Ved and how she took care of it.

He waited for her to continue "Ved kuch zyada weird hone laga tha and i think he stalked me. One day he came to our building and told me he loved me.

I kicked him there and threatened him to police."She said scared of Aryan's reaction. Aryan didn't say anything for few seconds, "And you are telling me this now"

controlling anger in his voice. "Yes because i took care of it. You dont have to worry about it. And please dont get mad i would have still hid it if i wanted but that chapter is now closed.

I can take care of myself Aru i told you."

"Yes but still...Chodo..I want you to be careful i never liked that man.I am going to tell Dad to fire him as well."

"Aru!! Don't be ridiculous!" she yelled at him

"I don't care."he snapped back at her

"See this is why i did not want to tell you, you don't think when you are angry. Professionally there has to be valid reason to fire, work wise he is doing what he is suppose to."Imlie stated angrily.

He became silent. "Suno, i took care of everything ok? I will go to police if he repeats i promise."She blew him a kiss through phone.

"I love you and i miss you come soon. And one more thing i am ready"hinted Imlie distracting him from Ved's topic.

Sighing he said, "i love you too baby and i miss you , want to sleep on your lap."

"Come soon" with that they hung up the phone. Imlie knew he was not the phone person still he has became more expressive ever since he is been with her.

Month later, Ved incident was long forgotten Imlie had gone shopping for Ahana baby shower. She bought bunch of beautiful decorations with Jungle theme.

She went home and took pictures and sent it to Ahana waiting on her reply. Her tummy was hurting so she decided she will take stroll around her area and walk around the neighborhood.

She was lost in her thoughts, when a bike came around 10 feet away from stopped and threw something on her.

As reflex she protected herself with her hands shielding herself . Motorbike sped away.

Suddenly , she screamed in pain. Her hands, skin was melting. She fell on her knees- her face had streak of the substance that was thrown at her.

This time her soul screamed, it was unbearable a couple came running hearing the screams and helped her get up.

She had lost senses, she did not believe what had just happen . She felt she was burning alive, she did not know the extent of damage. She blacked out still screaming and withering with pain.

The couple rushed to her hospital and informed the police.

Omg poor Imlie why always her man 😔

Glad Imlie has decided to keep friends after marriage!

Poor girl! Hopefully she doesn't suffer serious injuries! I really want to see what Aryan will do knowing about the attack!

chap-17 -the beast

He sat on other side of cafe, watching his prey with sharp eyes. He had menu out in front of him, hiding his most of face. He was undetectable but people still felt his presence except him

Ved. He evoked a beast in Aryan thats been suppressed since he was teenager. Aryan had violent streak to him nobody knew nobody.

His dark side. He was seeting with anger, he watched his prey pay the bill and leave. He followed him, he wanted him alone.

He made sure he did not get notice. When he finally got a chance-he travelling to wooded area he drove his bicycle and stopped infront of his car.

Ved put his head out window "Idiot want to get killed" Aryan didn't respond hiding behind the helmet.

It irked Ved more so he got out and went to teach the bike guy a lesson.

Ved hold him by his neck as soon as neared him and punched him. He fell on the ground, Aryan straddled remove his helmet.

Ved eyes went wide "Wha.." before he utters he got punched again. He kept punching until he heard couple of ribs break. Blood was spilling out of his mouth but Aryan did not stop.

His face was bloodied. Aryan got up and took a metal chain, he took Ved by his hair and dragged him into the bushes. He screamed but there will be nobody to hear him.

Aryan was blinded by rage at the moment. He wasn't the same Aru- reserved, compassionate,caring and above the most-a public servent.

He is going against everything he was taught. He should be given to police and let them take care of him . But no, Aryan knew

he would get out within few years but the hurt he had given to his heart-Imlie that would remain for life. The scars will remain for life.

he dragged him and tied him around neck with the chain and hanged him on the tree. He removed a small bottle from his pocket opened it and threw on his face.

Ved was now screaming for his life, Aryan closed his eyes and listened to him scream as if it was music to his ears.

The dark side nobody seen or heard. He opened his eyes when the screams died out his breathing labored and finally death came to him.

Aryan spat on the ground and left not regretting , he deserves this for doing the unthinkable to his life-his wife.

He went home, cleaned himself and went to hospital. His wife is in medical induced coma.

**Flashback**

Imlie when she woke up , she started screaming and bawling her eyes. The pain was unbearable. She screamed Aru's name.

Luckily, when police checked her background-they found out she is the wife of an ATS officer.

They called the number found on Imlie's phone and informed him. When Aryan heard , the screams in background Aru was frozen.

After the call was cut, he had started throwing things in the hotel room, Raja hearing the noise came and tried to stop him.

He wept "Why !?" "I need to go to her please , right now Raja. Please take care of this mission." he wiped his eyes and booked the next flight available.

When he had arrived, the doctor had informed him about the damage.

Her hands were 80 percent burned,10 percent in the chest area and 5 percent of face-Her face lucky she was her right cheek as half burned thats the damage there.

Aryan couldn't control his tears, the pain she must be in he wants to be with her right away "We had to induced her into coma, she was becoming hysterical, screaming in pain. That should keep her in this state,

until she can bear the pain when she wakes up. I would suggest skin draft surgery but first she needs to recover mentally" He patted his Aryan shoulder symphatically.

"Take care of her" And the doctor left. He went to Imlie, he assesed her-the tears fell on her hand. Aryan took Imlie's hand and sat on the chair just staring at her.

"I promise you , i won't leave him"he whispered. He kissed her cheeks, he needed to hold her. He moved Imlie a little, made a tiny space enough for him to hug her.

HE stayed with her whole night cuddling her sideways and staring at her. Next day when he woke up, he started following Ved.

Somehow in his guts he knew the that Ved is behind this.

**Flashback ends**

Police was called to that wooded area by passerby who noticed a abandoned car in middle of the road.

They found the body in bushes. Bloodied with acid all over his body. It was a gruesome sight.

Adult thumb sucker’s intuition was right!! 😘 imu will be fine soon 😵 hopefully! But black faree you put a great thought in his anger 🤣

So dark, @blackfaree. Even though each chapter is short, the emotions are so raw and well coveyed. It's been a long time since I have read dark stories. I am almost afraid of what you are going to write next = a job well done by you, the author. 👏👏

Omg can't imagine poor imlie... How can any guy do this to any girl heartless creature... Aryan teaches him right lesson.. Hope imlie can come over this....
