I understand your feelings. I too don't like watching such topics. But in this case I wasn't aware of the history.. then I goot attached to few characters in this show. Lead actors are doing gr8.. and the direction is outstanding. Script is very tight.. unlike any other Pakistani drama I've watched.. so I found myself hooked to it.😳 I'll keep watching pretending that it is a fiction.🤔

And that is the reason I'll never watch this drama. Nothing near truth. It was a genocide. Started on 25th of March night by killing around 30 thousand innocent people in one night and ended on December 16.

Even December 15 they killed all the university proff, doctors, journalists, scientist of the country so Bangladesh shutdown without any intellectuals. So many rapes and thousands of baby born as a result of rape.

Anyone really wants to know real history please read.

Sheikh Mujib won the election and to become the prime Minister of Pakistan, but West Pakistan didn't want to give him the power to the elected PM because he was Bengali. And they put Sheikh Mujib in jail instead of making him PM.

Ask us about the bloody history. These shows are utter nonsense..

I'm sure they are teaching kids a wrong history and telling Bangalis are non Muslim.. Pak Army were completely brain washed that India is taking East Pakistan and most of the Bengalis are Hindu. Even in every check post they checked men's were they have circumcision or not. If not they shot them as Hindu...

Pak history books don't mention about the 1971 war ....just in short they know they got separated

Which is a good thing as they have not white washed themselves in history books and ignored it

And I beg to differ with the above points

Pak Army weren't brain washed regarding anything...they were just ordered to kill is all so that next time we don't even dare to raise voice for justice......from day 1 the Bengalis were opposed for being the "lesser" community ....

They very well knew the Bengalis were also mostly Muslims coz this part was Pakistan as well.....Muslims from India migrated to both the Pakistan's in 1947 ...Hindus stayed back in India

But yes the Bd part of Pakistan had more Hindus and their Condition were even worse

But the massacre happened throughout the 9 months of war inspite of both sides being majorly Muslims

Islam teaches us NOT TO BE ARROGANT

Not to think we r superior even if we r coz that's Allah's gift if we r indeed superior.....it's true that Pakistan was stronger and superior to Bd in every aspect but that doesn't give them the right to be arrogant and trample a section of the same country and same religion under their feet

I wonder where was the world then? 9 months of killings and none stopped Pakistan from committing this crime!😲 I wonder why should army men kill innocent ppl? Even if they were non muslims , this doesn't give them the right to kill them. Where was that democracy which Pakistan was promoting when Mujib couldn't be a pm even after winning the elections! so many questions.. it is heartbreaking to know that one muslim part tried to control the other by ending the lives of its ppl. It is so against Islam and against humanity.😭

Pakistan portrays that Pakistanis Were right that time, Bangladesh presents Pak in negative light. India also presents Pak in negative light.

If Pak Army actually did it then Allah will punish them.

If anyone interested just google the genocide in Bangladesh at 1971...

Following is the 15 December while in the middle of the night took all intellectuals in a low land and tied their hands and killed.. My family went to see them on December 17.. and it was close to our home.

I hate films that are based on war because they are ALWAYS biased in favour of the country producing the content. They encourage and entice hyper-nationalism, which fuels sectarianism.

India is the worst offender. Every other film is about how amazing the Indian army is and how horrible Pakistanis and Muslims are. They do everything within their power to dehumanise minority groups especially Pakistanis and Muslims.

Now Pakistan is following in their footsteps. All this kind of propaganda does is sustain prejudice and racial hate. I heard the army is now funding dramas - that is bad news. It's essentially an easy way to get the masses hooked on propaganda and brainwashed.

What would be beneficial for the masses is a drama truly depicting what happened. Own up to the fact that you as a country were also complicit in the violence, the murdering, the looting. Send out a strong message that civil wars borne of racial and religious prejudices lead to catastrophic consequences, pain and loss on both sides. Perhaps that will be a step towards encouraging people to be kind and respectful to minority group and cognisant of their human rights.
