Alka ❤️❤️❤️I associate Alka's voice with "woman" as opposed to Shreya's voice which I associate with "girl". Her voice can be shrill and annoying in certain songs but gosh when she's good, she sounds so soothing and motherly for a lack of a better word. Idk how to explain it. Her songs Gali mein aaj chand, Pyaar ke liye chaar pal kam nahi the, Mehndi hai rachne wali, Mere Humsafar Mere paas aaa, Chup gaya badli mein etc. reflect what I'm trying to convey.
Both are the best female singers in Bollywood history..the current ones are trash in comparison (see neha kakkar)
