Apart from having a common capital Chandigarh, Punjabi and Haryanvi are vastly different. Punjabi belongs to a different sub group of Western Indo-Aryan languages, whereas Haryanvi I guess comes closer to the group of Middle Indo-Aryan languages inside the subcontinent.

Haryanvi is closer to Marwadi actually, but even these 2 are very different. The thing is we can't class these languages in India as one group or as being similar. There's so much diversity, it's mind boggling. Of course there are common words in the vocabulary but if someone speaks Punjabi versus Haryanvi, we'll find they're not similar. It's said that the dialect changes every 100 kilometers.

Sati was the first wife of shivji. Her father was not happy with the alliance. Her father once organised a pooja and homam and invited everyone except shivji after their marriage. Sati wanted to visit it together but shivji declined and tried to make her understand the consequences of visiting somebody without invitation. But she didnt agree and went as she felt its her parental home and dont require any invitation to be there. But seeing sati, her father in his rage humiliated and insulted shivji severely. Sati couldnt bear this and commited suicide in front of everyone by burning herself. When shivji came to know about this, he was in thandav and send his ansh and killed her father but later was revived.

Shivji was filled with agony and grief and carried the lifeless burnt sati in his hands and wandered all around. Vishnuji later shattered the burnt corpse to give mukti..

As soul is endless and infinite, sati's soul was reborn as Parvati and with lot of tapas and with her determination, she regained back her shivji..

So thats the story of Shivji and Sati.

Lakshman and Urmila's unsaid love and Urmila's devotion and sacrifice are an unspoken hidden beauty in the Ramayana. Urmila's quiet strength and steadfastness is truly admirable. She's an aspect of Goddess Lakshmi (just like Lakshman is Sheshnag, Lord Vishnu's aspect).

Here the comparison doesn't work out 🤣
