I agree that we do jump to conclusions; however point also is that as a writer and as a long running story, self thoughts of a character is seldom shown clearly!! I have not seen in any show where the self thought of any character is shown to make a viewer understand ki why he or she is doing such a thing or what are they thinking. Keeping that as a suspense is OK for some instance, not always. And that leaves us to many many assumptions based on their past plots and some logic. When those assumptions also do not meet up, thats when you start losing the plots and your conviction on the story. ANd most imp culprit is hope :) :)

The book's anuj is far far far better than this show's ANuj!! What a terror he was when anyone even tried to look evil towards his love!!! He was totally savage man!! savage to enemies and gentle to his love. Read it, you will love him.
