Very true...Ram is probably more so attached because this is possibly the most genuine and real relationship he has had. Ram thus being so reactive, specially at any threat of losing out on Priya, does make sense.

I think that could be a personal choice. I have seen two professional, independent women behave different way w.r.t. bangles they wore. There was one who genuinely liked wearing it when I asked about it and whose husband wanted her to remove it and the other who would remove it while sleeping. I think sometimes it also choice and not plain Patriarchy.

I don't think Ram is insecure about Priya's fidelity. But he thinks, imo, that Neeraj has ruined the very idea of romantic love for Priya forever. So seeing him around her makes him agitated.

When choice is only choice depicted in media! Sorry not sorry! All good well mannered women, specially FLs do it on TV! Bollywood women who choose to take it off later flaunt in their first meeting with media. What happens is that these women who have choice indirectly forces it upon an lakhs or crores of women who don't have that choice/agency.
