Here's what I have seen?:

1. Abhay tarnished Deepika's character and was always locking horns with her.

2. He realized he was wrong about her and started respecting her as a professional after she did his mother's successful surgery.

3. the friendship deepened from Deepika's breakdown at the terrace; when Deepika hugged him.

4. Abhay notice how wonderful Deepika was as a person and realized that what he felt was more than friendship - Probably the first real realization on his part.

5. Little incidences kept happening and the final nail in his realization was again when she helped him with his mom at his home.

7. Abhay finally seemed like he was on the verge of telling Sia when Sia's father sequence happened.

8. Yet Abhay at the last minute decided to tell Sia that he has fallen for Deepika (maybe or someone else) and break the engagement, that was when he saw the VIpika hugging scene and Vikrant confessing his love which he obviously misunderstood.

9. After the engagement he buried his feelings for Deepika and was a complete professional at the workplace even with Deepika.

10. His entire focus shifted to being a better doctor at work and I for one did not see him approaching Deepika in any sort of romantic way. He was friendly and yet a professional.

So maybe I missed something, somewhere. I too don't know why is Abhay being counted as a cheater.

The only thing wrong that Abhay did was take too much time in telling Sia that he did not have any feelings for her and that he had something for someone else. An this is what has hurt Sia most. That he didn't tell her about this earlier. Falling for someone else is not wrong. Human emotions are such that shit happens, but not letting the affected party know and drag the situation is. And that is why my sympathy goes to Sia. She deserved to know as soon as Abhay's realization happened. This is where Abhay is completely wrong but calling him a cheater is a tad bit too much I think.

On the contrary, Vikrant is cheating openly on his wife and yes, Deepika is contributing to his cheating. Deepika is giving him that emotional channel and Vikrant is making full use of it. So in this case, from my perspective, both Deepika and Vikrant can equally be counted as douchebags.

+1 to your post. even i am getting irritated by this frequent discussion of how Abhay cheated Sia...i would have termed it as cheating if Abhay actively pursued Deepika for a romantic interest while still being in relationship with Sia. we do have crushes, attrction for other person in real life too. doesnt mean we cheat our partner as long as we dont act on it and dont go behind the partner's back to have an affair by lying and manipulating situations

Abhay did drag this for a long time that is the main problem. But from his POV he was trying to banish those thoughts and dedicating himself to Sia. In a way thats very normal and thats what happens in many relationships..

yeyyy..atleast Abhay is going to know the complete truth. Before that initially he will misunderstand and tell off Deepika for having an affair with married man. I hope he gets through her. he wont be wrong. he has seen how that destroys the wife first hand so his anger is justifiable

I think this promo is misleading. I am guessing Abhay too will confess his love and that line at the end will mean for whom Deepika will choose between them

I find this pretty normal too. I don't think I will ever count Abahya as a cheater, unfortunately not the same can be said about Vikrant. He is actually cheating on his wife and Deepika is yet again falling prey to his tactics. 😒

Ikr... I miss the old Deepika. Hope it's just a phase and that she will get her senses back soon. It's still not too late. Her character graph can still be fixed. Really looking forward to Abhay and Ansari's growth from here onwards. Likewise for Sia and Piroz.
