LOL looks like new Adi will return successfully from PD all on his own....no rescue needed 😆.....so it's clear ki it was just a side plot to set up GM ka exit - has no bearing on the actual story😆

Chalo we got to see GM wala Adi snubbing Rapist Malini in his last moments and also getting to do some reporter-giri in PD....haha good enough.

Ishq Mein Marjaawan 2 actor Manasvi Vashist to replace Gashmeer Mahajani in ‘Imlie’

Manasvi will be seen playing the character of Aditya Kumar Tripathi in Star Plus show ‘Imlie’.

India Forums recently confirmed the buzz that Gashmeer Mahajani who plays the character of Aditya Kumar Tripathi in Star Plus show ‘Imlie’ is all set to bid adieu to the show. While the speculations about the same were doing the rounds, there weren’t any confirmations. However, now it is certain that the actor will quit the show soon.

Mahajani apparently planned to quit the show because he was unable to give time to Marathi cinema and other web projects. A source was quoted saying, “It was quite clear from the first day of the shoot that Gashmer will continue to shoot for his Marathi films and for web alongside Imlie, to which the makers had agreed. But as the story progressed and the show started doing well, Gashmeer was not able to take up other projects. He reportedly gave only 10 days in a month to the makers to shoot his sequence which was not enough. After a lot of discussions, Gashmeer finally quit the show. His last day will be in mid-January."

The makers were on a hunt for an apt actor to play the character. ‘Hamari Wali Good News’ actor Raghav Tiwari was considered to play the part, however, looks like actor Manasvi Vashist of ‘Ishq Mein Marjaawan 2’ fame has bagged the meaty role.

As reported in TellyChakkar.com and IWMBuzz.com, Vashisht has been finalized to play the role. The show will witness Aditya missing for a while leaving the family stressed. It will further be revealed that Aditya gets successful in coming out of a tricky situation, thereby introducing the new Aditya played by Manasvi.

Multiple attempts to reach out to Manasvi went in vain.

‘Imlie’ is produced by Four Lions’ Pvt Ltd. The show has a stellar star cast including actors like Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Fahmaan Khan, Mayuri Deshmukh among others.

Aree… I never thought it was a pr stunt but I did wonder if maybe he was taking a hiatus.. I have no experience in Hindi serial so all this so called sources confirming the news and cryptic tweet from lead is beyond my understanding. 🤷‍♀️ … guess I was too naive 🤷‍♀️

Dekhte hain how new Adi describes the "layers" to his character😆......Not everyone can have the total clarity and sharpness of capturing the nerve of a character/scene like GM did with the way he was able to bring across complicated/mixed emotions for a character like Adi.

Maybe now people will finally comprehend why only GM could play Adi....it wasn't about good looks....cuz apparently this new guy is good looking too😆.....but the mix of self-confidence, perceptiveness and sharaafat with which GM played Adi even while every action of his character was hyper scrutinized and bashed mindlessly - yeah it takes another level of ability to play this while not getting affected by the constant criticism.

Haha arey koi baat nahin....I can understand....don't mind us cynical ones who've seen so many permutations/combinations of quitting drama now ki hardly anything seems surprising 😆

GM ka tweet was cryptic but the way it was timed with the release of the quitting news made it pretty obvious - and the subsequent days mein GM-ST ke interactions on social media too made it clear he's left. PH/media ka focus was more on what names they can float for replacements than on confirming GM ka quitting.....cuz I guess GM was not in the mood to give them any masala from this news for now and was more forward focused too😆

Honestly, the more it's now sinking in, the better it is that he's left.....show is becoming trashier by the day and the content is now in typical Atif zone from his previous lame shows like DBO, Namak, supernatural series etc.....lol.....toh jab yeh Imlie hi nahin raha, it does not need GM brand of Adi anymore either cuz it won't vibe with the "values" of typical Gul-land trash😆

LOL asli idea toh is new Adi ki entry ke baad hi hoga what they want to do with his character now - grey balance kar paayenge ki aur downfall karenge.....but yeah not sure about new guy's caliber to pull that off either way😆

Maybe they should start making him do more singing/dancing/manhandling too to cover up for the lack of acting ability.....if it can work for FK, it can surely work for him too😆.....delusions of grandeur ki waise bhi koi kami nahin yahaan aajkal😆
