Why in the world is Mehru soooo desperate to get married??? She is acting as if these two guys are the last 2 men on planet Earth. It is not even 1 year since her husband died and all she thinks of is getting married. Beta ki shadi ke liye she wants him to wait and in her case she is so much jaldbaazi. 😜

I am not convinced (yet) that if she has to choose one amongst these 2, why she would pick Maahir. Marrying Maahir means displeasing her children, unnecessary gossip in society, encountering embarrassing situation in family and social gatherings etc. There is only one reason to endure all these and marry Maahir - love! No other justification - marrying out of pity, out of anger against family, marrying for companionship or understanding, marrying because she doesn't want to marry Ibtisam etc fall flat on face!

Usama is too good as mehrus son and I m liking the comic angle with the Buddha angle as well

I m glad here both the guys and the dead husband aka nauman ejaz wasn't shown to be unnecessarily evil or tharki

All 3 of them were indeed fond of mehru and mehru also respects the husband and the uncle but she gels well with Mahir

That also they showed in such aesthetic way

EVERYONE'S PERFORMANCE IS JUST SPOT ON

Just started watching this show…watched first two episodes and then jumped to the last 11th one…. Have a one question….is Minal Maru’s step daughter ?

PS. It was a bit strange to see ( in first two episodes ) that there was no sign of grief in Maru….. what I can make out is that Hidayat wasn’t evil , he was dominating but not a bad person ….. one forms an attachment with anyone ( be it an animal also ) one lives for a long time and their going does leave a certain grief ( unless the person is evil or has done really bad things to you ) which was not the case with Maru. ….. and what I could gather from the conversation amongst Minal and her brother in first two episodes was that Maru and Hidayat were a happy couple …. Maru was like his saya so I found it really odd the way she behaved….very off putting

I just have one and to all ur queries

Watch epi 3 to epi 10

Everything has been shown organically

U don't have to watch each n every scene

Forward the annoying parts but catch up on the story

Then nothing will seem off putting anymore

Maybe she wants to get settle in her life as she is lonely. Her kids have no time for her. If a man can marry after his wife's death then a woman can also marry. I know In our society Widows 2nd marriage ratio is very less.

Mehru has lived her life according to her husband for many years. Now she wanted to be little selfish and think about herself. The main reason behind choosing mahir would be the understanding and compatibility she has with him.

I just love this drama, I don't use my brains a lot while watching it. But yes. Mehru can become irritating sometimes. She is stubborn too.

I think she has a soft corner for Mahir. 😳 She is a woman and he is an attractive man. 😉 After Ibtisam proposed her she had to sit with herself and think. She realized that she lost half her life with an elder man, and she can't lose the rest with another elder man, or stay a lone. She wants her life back, she wants her chance of happiness.😃

As a midage woman I can relate to Mehru. She spent half her life looking after home and children, she couldn't have fun. Yes , she had a caring husband, but he didn't let her do what she really wants.. he was more of a strict father than a husband. Now she wants to live her life the way she wants, and fulfill the dreams she has.. Mahir knows how to make her feel young and happy, he doesn't care about age gap between them. If he wants money, then she wants youth. It is a fair exchange.🤓

Hahaa.. Then I'm completely opposite. Polar opposite of mehru (& u) 😝

If i were in place of Mehru, i would rather cherish my freedom than rush into another marriage. I will have money, health, relatively not too old age, time, means and grown up kids - i would have been on world tour already. 😬 I would have enjoyed my single days for couple of years beforr even thinking of a secobd marriage, especially since i have nothing to worry about as such. Life is sorted in everyway.

Also, why does Mehru want to end up in another terrible marriage by marrying someone who is clearly after her money? From her kid's POV, all reactions are justified. I would be totally ok if my parent was remarrying someone but i don't think i would be cool if they were remarrying someone my age or younger. Thats just plain weird, too awkward! Sorry.

Me and Mehru are opposites too. I was just trying to see matters from her pov.😎 I enjoyed my singlehood for 35 yrs before I settled down. She didn't.. so I was sympathying with her. Also in my dreamland, being a romantic at heart .. I don't mind spending the remaining days of my life with a young and a hot guy like Mahir.😳😆

It is a good idea.⭐️ But to enjoy you need a companion. At Mehru's age , her friends must be settled down and have lots of responsibilities, she can't go away all by her self, specially when she is used to companion from a little age. I don't think she'll enjoy doing anything if she was alone.😕 Not just that, also society won't spare her .

You see the matters from kids pov, while I am seeing them from a parent pov.🤓 Why should she spend her life trying to plz her kids, why isn't it the opposite? She is a woman with desires and ampititions, why should she prison herself again now that she's free? Yes.. her marriage with Mahir seems like a disaster, but she thinks that she can be the controling person in their relationship since she is the elder , she has the money and the power, so let's see if she'll succeed.😉😃

I'm surprised too why in earth she even consider Ibtesam and also Mahir if she thinks he is after her money.

IMO she should first learn her business, get independent, enjoy and do everything she couldn't do in her life. And then thinks about marriage with some companion. But no she is thinking she have to get married first by either greedy person..
