She could have told him, and Sid would have infact helped her after knowing that she doesn't want this engagement & wants to explore her feelings for him.

But ofcourse itv show hai toh drama nahi milta so yeh toh nahi dikhate, but atleast her attempts of trying to tell him would have made me sympathise with her. Like she tried, she wanted to but couldn't. Abhi toh its as if Sid's feelings his heartbreak don't matter to her, she is too busy in her issues & her family ki 'izzat'.

Sid is as if like just collateral damage for her, 'meri life mein itne issues hai, hamare wahan aisa hi hota hai toh mujhe sab sacrifice karna padega, choice hi kahan hai mere paas' types.

But bro Sid ki kya galti in sab mein. Why he needs to suffer & why did are you letting him suffer & go through all this pain. Why didn't you take charge when ypu had the choice.
