Actually it happens to me as well by my husband. When his family does something there will always be a reason where as when I do, he just knows that its to spite him/them!! I hv given up explaining now🤷.

And we r not newly weds!!😂 😔

Hahaha… my sis in law and brother had same problem… my Mom solved it by making them write their versions of stories and how they felt and sitting and reading together and discussing about it…Mind you this works when the people involved are not manipulative… just being themselves and you know more about them so you can judge their intention, but the partner doesn’t get it as they don’t know the people for that long.

She saw through the ego gap between them and made them do this. She says that understanding doesn’t happen magically you lived 30 odd years and so did she…. Your perspective to same situation might vary as long as principles match…and she came into your life just few months ago..how the hell would she know all that you are and your life habits are.

So, final say is that…misconceptions can be addressed… miscommunication must be identified and constantly corrected ..otherwise insecurities creep up.
