I was so busy admiring Arylie I didn’t even notice that other family members were in the background, but yup, Malini is there. Like how do you even make that mistake? Why would she be there dancing for any reason?

Exactly you wouldn't do that to your child unless you are so drown into depths of hatred.

Her hatred for mithi is really strong that she is still holding onto the man who doesn't love her as her husband so he could never whisk away from her and when she couldn’t take it out on mithi she is using malini to take out her years of anger and hatred on Imlie as revenge... for her Malini's mental health and happiness doesn't worth a dime.

Thanks for linking this! I hadn't noticed. So they mixed up the initial dance of AryLie with snippets of the latter part once everyone hit the dance floor. 🤣

I’ve totally been noticing this. I didn’t want to comment because I don’t know much about the history of how they’ve interacted in the past but since I started watching I feel like Malini is just a pawn for her.

Anu herself is threatened by Imlie, she’s a constant reminder of the flaws and shortcomings in her own marriage. For her it seems as much about “winning” against Imlie as it is about avenging whatever slights against her she feels there have been. I dislike people that think like this - Imlie’s only fault was being born. She didn’t choose the circumstances under which that birth occurred - two consenting adults made a decision and the result was Imlie. Why should she constantly be having to pay for the sins of her parents?! But I digress.

Malini is also a pawn for Anu in her own revenge plot. In a way she too is a victim of her own upbringing and the toxic environment she seems to have grown up in. Her mother knew exactly the buttons to push. This doesn’t excuse her actions or behaviours though.

This is also why they’ll never be satisfied with Aditya and Malini’s wedding - because that wasn’t the point - that hasn’t been the point for a long time I suspect. The point has been to hurt and harm Imlie, but they didn’t count on Aryan and the Rathore clan to show up as her shield. To support her and pick her up. Their whole plan on destroying Imlie hinged on her being alone and broken. So as Aryan and Imlie begin to get closer, as Imlie becomes more independent and successful in her own right, they won’t be able to live with that and there will be more plotting.

Yes! I’m really anxious to know what triggers this, who all goes, when does this happen.

I’m trying to temper my expectations but I can’t help thinking of how there will be more opportunities now for Imlie to teach Aryan something. And I can’t help but wonder how comfortable big city boy CEO is going to be so far removed for everything that’s comfortable and familiar. It has the potential to be so great!!
