Like in case of Karan,love was never a thought because woh khud guilt main hi itna consumed tha,he was so closed off that he didnt see anything beyond that.

He just saw Monami being more weird version of her crazy self..notice kiya but ponder nahi kya..(cadets ne Monami ke love phase main notice kiya tha but Sid ne smartly deflect kar diya tha,otherwise sabko pata chal hi jaata ,the way she was behaving)

Ab shayad cadets will notice about Karan's behavior towards Monami.

Monami shayad Karan ke pyaar main itni lost hai ki usse Aneesh ki cheezein dikh nahi rahi ya phir he might have been the same in college,doing lot of what he has done before(as he said in today's episode) so she assumed its in same vein only.

In party also she just laughed it off jo bhi usne kaha and didnt take him seriously..only Karan saw it for what it actually was. because he was not blinded with any other bias.

Agar koi lady aayi like Aneesh then I am sure Monami will catch on really fast.

Abhi toh dono hi ek dusre ke orbit ke focus hai..

I think Monami must be used to this male attention, she is shown to be pretty, sundar kanya, sensitive, sweet & caring hai so she must have had men showering their attention par walnut uncle ke darr se most would have kept it at flirting & friendship extent only, she has had a very protective environment.

So maybe she doesn't take all this seriously unless she is herself into it, like she was for Karan because nobody had gone to that extent for her like he did.

The way Faizi said "humein kyun kheech rahe ho* and Karan said "chal na" and pushed Faizi forward jo girte parte hello bolne gaya..😂

then Karan be like "haan,haan ..aaja baith na,itna badiya breakfast roz thodi na banta hai"😁

Phir acting all innocent,Monami se kaise puch raha tha..😁

The eye stare when Monami praised Aneesh and he shot a gleeful smile to Karan.

Then how Karan countered it and Monami took his side and then Karan smiled at Aneesh,having put him in his place.

Ek aur cheez notice kari maine..after that civilian wala dialogue KarMi were staring at each other but Monami shifted her gaze but our Majnu Shergill continued to stare at her for few seconds longer before sarcastically thanking Aneesh for the muffin and leaving from there..❤️

I noticed that too, last episode mein bhi when Karan comes to sit beside her & they have an eye-lock, she then shifts her gaze & signals for the breakfast

As if she gets lost in his eyes & then peels herself off & reminds herself of reality & that they can't be together & she needs to not get carried away🥺

this part can be confusing because as per Sid ,Monu used to be all alone before he befriended her and even Aneesh said that she was shy,introvert type with specs.

She was not carefree or chirpy at that time.More like dabi hui under walnut and lonely.

So I dont think she is used to it.

ek baar she had said about how she helped a friend to get books because that girl was from poor background. I think uska nature hi waisa tha. Aneesh probably liked her but uss time nahi bola because backgrounds were different,he might have tested waters then but in casual manner and she didnt treat him anything more than a friend so he didnt try further.But now he has the means(the way he talked about money as if that was ever an factor for her,although it might have been for him) and the opportunity so he is again trying but again she thinks its same as before because usne kabhi uski itni cheezein deep level par notice nahi ki jitne maybe Aneesh ne ki at that time.

Karan' entry shook her,challenged her and made her into a better person. Aneesh was in a way right when he said that she would have already had that potential for someone to mould her and that person was Karan.

Karan ne dekha,samjha,when she faltered tab saath diya,tried to free her from confines.He touched her at an intrinsic level and she saw that goodness behind that tough exterior and fell for him.

Aneesh ne uss time utne efforts nahi kiye,woh kabhi extra mile gaya hi nahi..abhi bhi woh bas past ke basis par tikka hai

@bold- Mujhe aisa laga ki use farak hi nahi padta. He's just flaunting how well he knows Monami. He's not interested in knowing this new Monami, wo kya sochti hai, wo ab kaisi hai. He's more interested in just going back to the college days, and just reminiscing about them. And there's nothing wrong with it, if you're just talking about it in a nostalgic manner, but if that's your basis about wooing someone, then that's an issue, because tum toh uske present mein hi nahi jee rahe.

Karan, on the other hand, genuinely cares about her strength, her dreams, her passion, her drive. And he knows where they all stem from, what's important for her. And he had always been interested in hearing about it. Like, during the diwali shopping, she had been talking about her Mom, and he just listened patiently, and in genuine interest and empathy. Karan had always been interested in hearing about what's important, and what matters to her.

Haan she is trying to respect his decision & maintain distance but now Karan is missing her because he has accepted that he wants to spend time with her

For Aneesh its becoming a competition even for Karan it is somewhat but his seems more like actual, real true love, wherein Monami's dreams, ambitions, weaknesses all matter to him

Aneesh ke liye bhi her desires may matter, if given a chance, his like may transform into love but Moran have already reached that level where they are already madly in love with each other, they may have not realised the depth & intensity of their feelings but it looks like wo dono kaafi aage nikal gaye hai
