Okay, I was rewatching the episode (because kal tak isi se kaam chalaana padega. When will tomorrow come?), and that scene with Monami and Aneesh when she is describing what she's like: Is it just me or did Monami's voice waver slightly when she said- apne team, apne cadets ke liye jaan bhi de sakta wo.

Main special nahi thi. Usne sahi hi kaha tha. Meri jagah aur koi bhi hota, wo wahi karta. I am not special to him. Just another cadet. Uske baad bhi jo bhi kara usne, apni duty ke liye kiya hoga. Papa se ladhna, mujhe special bulaana. Main utni hi special hoon jitna baaki cadets hain. Special than the rest of the world, but not special enough.

Like in case of Karan,love was never a thought because woh khud guilt main hi itna consumed tha,he was so closed off that he didnt see anything beyond that.

He just saw Monami being more weird version of her crazy self..notice kiya but ponder nahi kya..(cadets ne Monami ke love phase main notice kiya tha but Sid ne smartly deflect kar diya tha,otherwise sabko pata chal hi jaata ,the way she was behaving)

Ab shayad cadets will notice about Karan's behavior towards Monami.

Monami shayad Karan ke pyaar main itni lost hai ki usse Aneesh ki cheezein dikh nahi rahi ya phir he might have been the same in college,doing lot of what he has done before(as he said in today's episode) so she assumed its in same vein only.

In party also she just laughed it off jo bhi usne kaha and didnt take him seriously..only Karan saw it for what it actually was. because he was not blinded with any other bias.

Agar koi lady aayi like Aneesh then I am sure Monami will catch on really fast.

Abhi toh dono hi ek dusre ke orbit ke focus hai..

Yup, they are too oblivious to even consider it. Karan's reason being that he never thought someone would love him. He said it out loud too, right? 'Koi mujhe apna samajh kar pyaar kare...' wala dialogue. He never caught on, because it wasn't even in the back of his mind.

As for Monami, it's almost the same, but for different reasons. She never thought Aneesh was interested in her like that, and she never looked at Aneesh as closely as she did with Karan. Uske actions ko rethink hi nahi kiya kabhi toh kaise hi pata chalega? And Sid bhi nahi hai, yeh bolne ke liye. Karan ke saath, Sid tha use push karta hua.
