Today episodes had me pondering over so many issues and far more unanswered questions. So many viewers keep viewing this as Aditya payback for all the harm he has caused a payback for the wrongs he has committed which in actually he has not made by himself if one measures these actions against the people that have been wronged by his behaviour. This constant need to view Aditya self destructive behaviour is becoming tiresome in the grand scheme of things when on views the lack of communication upheld by Imlie that has lead her to this point in her own relationship.
A poisons apple comes to mind when manipulating can be used for all to see yet none to challenge. I often wonder when people referred to Snow White and the wicked witch was this a tale of jealousy or something else. Yet today when I watch the clip of the tale again I am left pondering over the time when Aditya and Maline had the same conversation about similarities and the need of differences between them both and how once growth stems from these opposing views. In a way today it was proven again that although Maline claimed to be just like Aditya in a way she never really was. Her personality and interest stemmed of the identity and ideals of having his love and not being in love with the man he is. His whole foundation lays upon his own truth and one can say that Maline doesn’t judge matters related to herself on that principle her whole lead unto this second marriage has been of her rights but we also question what is that exactly? Is that the right to be his friend, lover, wife or the mother of there children. For if she had loved him she would have heard his plea, seen his silent death and saw the same fade away when he spoke of his love for another and anchored his dreams in that of the future he wanted but didn’t wish to walk with her her or saw through her eyes as he may once thought he did. One could clearly see he returned to her void and empty to own his soulless faith.
It was at that time when that very once sacred fire became the poisonous apple in the tale for in reality did it really bring Maline the closure she believed she deserved. Not really for the man she once had left her behind a long time ago. Today she sits with a shell that stems of the ideology she has of them and not what they truly are. In a way it reminded me off all the marriage Aditya had and his actions that lead him through those emotions. Back then everyone was quick to lay blame ar his door just as they did today for him giving up but if one looks at the foundation of the marriage one had stripped him of his choice and another was one he thought he wanted and committed to till he learnt that maybe that is not what he had wanted to start with. I just wonder how many times can he tell her the same thing or show the viewers of what he wants and needs before it will hit home.
Love doesn’t self destruct for that happens when we choke it to death with unkind words and empty promises. The safest part in it all when so many viewers say Aditya is to blame in this situation at the alter one can clearly see that he made none of these to both woman. He was neither unkind and nor did he promise them something he could not deliver. As soon as he felt his feelings did not mirror his heart he spoke his soul and let out the same emotions through the truth he told each individual. The lack of acceptance by both woman is there blame to carry and not his alone. For they became the poisonous apple by laying the blame alone at his feet while they tried to bend him to there wills. But in the end to keep such love alive should one simply not just accept the man he is with the flaws he has and be wise to what we have and not of what we lack so we breath into it the spirit that binds you. In a way why should he have waited for Imlie to learn this as he waited at Mandir when he had held his hand out as a guide through all there challenges. Showed her a way through it with or without his advice for the both of them and themselves. That’s what dreams of made of choices of wanting to take that leap of faith.
As his soul burns away to ashes I was left wondering these thoughts and these thoughts alone. When does one start to question the truth of authority? Where does on lay boundaries? Does one self obsession ever end or does authority overlook the need of morality? Yet I set these thoughts aside as I end this rambling thought with a equation of what takes more president is it self obsession v morality in this latest twist we can say that clearly the need for the cliche of revenge to win we have seen self obsession tale president when in reality morality should have been the true winner today. For when one looks at the mirror today the reflection doesn’t represent that of good or evil but it represents the loss of faith for a mirage can be made for what we want to believe it to be but what does one do when that essence has been burnt to the ground. It is sad that Maline believes she had turned back the clock and taken back control of what was hers when in reality she had lost more of it then she can imagine. It is sad that the makers have to spell out the flaws we saw a year ago to viewers that deny to see it for what it was. I am cannot believe people would be willing to accept a loveless marriage then why should Aditya have to. In this we can say at the start there were three victims because of the faithful twist yet today there are only two because the other knew the measure of what her decision held and that cannot be denied no matter how much you white wash it under the carpet or avoid to answer it.
On the other side Imlie has lost the one valued thing she had which was his love which can not be bought but just earned. She in a way burnt the only relationship that actually saw her as an equal stood by her when none else cared to do so. Today she is alone once again and the people she said supported her failed to do so when the time came for all stood watching there own lay his own ashes in the toxicity of the past. For me her return is a bit too late or has it even started is the question for me it doesn’t seem so for if it had mattered she would have allowed herself to question the how and not why?
Sorry but if Aryan was any better of a man that Aditya he would have today allowed them to talk and brought her to the Mandir been open to this truth he is aware of and that of the past. His need to hide makes his crime no different to the fact that what Aditya did back then when he hid his forced marriage from Maline for he did it to protect the woman he cared for. How is that concern any different. For a lie is a lie and Aryan concern is seen as heroic when Aditya is seen as criminal. That is laughable because at the end of it the truth is Aryan made the decision based upon his own revenge needs and not what he knew of Imlie and Aditya relationship. For none of his actions are noble unlike that of Aditya.
So as I look at Aditya as he sits at the mandap and recall a though which I feel is so apt to his predicament “I tremble when her darkness sweeps over me, she holds the power of my happiness yet I am left to wonder alone what if i had not fallen at all? What if I had not allowed myself to love at all. What if is the question I need but shall I have it is the truth that I will.” Although I wish to kill him at times today is not that day today I wish we could go and bring him back to his happy place where his story mattered more then that of others needs. I wish he was the man that knew not of love but knows of himself maybe that was a more powerful person to be then the one his truth had made him become.
This is answer to your post Aps, hopefully it helps. Look forward to reading what you all think for I am no longer sure what to think when I look at the saga of lost faith that once was bound to love.
