I have 2 solid friends from undergrad days && that’s enough for me 😂

Yeah she is ... But sometimes it's just hard to vent out to her because I don't want to stress her out ... And except her, I am just mostly quiet and in my own world ... Married life taught me a lot of patience where the more I vent out, the more I get angry and tired. I don't even feel any emotional attachment with my partner anymore ... bas ek bestie hai who I can share everything with and she never judges 🥰

DH knows to do it but I rather get him do some non productive household chores like dishes or laundry than cooking.

At least your DH does something 😆 In my home, it's such a traditional gendered set up that makes me mad but I can't say anything out of respect 🤓

It was like that at our paternal homes but post marriage we moved here and being a nuclear family without any other support, everyone needs to pitch in… btw he used to stay alone here in US before marriage so he knew things r difficult to manage. But there are times when we get in loggerheads especially on game nights 😬while getting stuff done…that’s part of married life and I don’t care much about it rather go easy.

All cousins n aunts n uncles leg pulling the groom n I don’t know how I was stuck there🤭🤭🤭 but that was enlightening journey🤣🤣🤣 and life was never the same again🤣🤣

Hahaha very enlightening indeed!!

Yes I think if my husband and I lived separately, things would be different because he cooks and he understands my busy academic life… Ghar pe mum spoils my dad and my husband and I often argue with her about this 🤔 Dad ko kuch bol nahi paati but I get mad if my husband gets too lazy 😆
