It's so frustrating when people think negative things about our show. If they dislike the show then why are they watching? Some haters want a new male lead so that the TRPs would increase the way it has for another show. Just because a certain thing worked for another show doesn't mean Ghum too should follow and it would work too. How ridiculous. How will a new male lead would work for Ghum?

I will write about this issue. I have some thoughts. I am out of main forum already and this time I have no interest to go back!

I am sometimes appalled at how the characters are understood. I mean it is quiet silly to judge an onscreen character based on the favoritism of offscreen personality. I like Neil too. I came onboard on this serial because I liked Neil as Zakir before. He is a wonderful actor too. But later I stuck to the show because of the story. I connected to all 3 characters until pakhi turned completely negative during ajinkya track.

I liked virat’s character because it is more layered. When I watched KD, I liked his character more. Liking a character doesn’t mean their ideals should match yours. People love joker from Batman. That doesn’t mean they like to be a joker! You just empathize with it. Similarly sai’s is so beautiful and believable. She is such an young girl who has got pushed into this relationship without an option. It is bound to be tumultuous. Given virat’s commitment in the beginning.

OK I dont have patience to go through the plot and emotions. I have just one question.

How is a best friend any less than a family member? If the same thing is happening with Sunny, wouldnt we want Virat to do everything he is doing for Sruthi now? Only thing is Sunny is not a fugitive/naxal. Hence he is hiding more than required. He is putting everything else behind other than safety and security of his family. As much as I see Sai's pain and connect with her, puttiing down VIrat's love for her, not empathizing with him for helping out his dear friend's family is appalling. As Virat said, if Sai knows the truth she would have helped Sruthi more. Now also, if Sai knows the truth, her heart with break 1000 times more. She is that much in love with him. not connecting with her love for Virat is something I couldnt get it. That girl found her life meaningless with out him. It happens. That is also a problem? she is 19 year old girl, not saint. And asking for a new ML, worrying about a leap (there is no way there will be a leap given the story now), and asking her to divorce Virat only shows how poorly Sai and her love is being understood. Why cant they see her journey. Real life is not bed of roses. People suffer much more in relationships even though both the partners are good souls.

As Ayesha rightly said in her interivew. Two people extremely in love with each other are facing these unfortunate situations. HOJATA HAIN sometimes. That is life.

I have no intention to discuss anything in main forum. I am done with the insensitivity. I love the current track. The creatives are beautifully showing their relationship and what is lacking, and how they will build trust. I will watch and visit this thread when tagged.

Virat keeping Shriti over his family and wife is unwelcme for me. He is neglecting his responsibility towards family and wife in the wake of his stupid Vada which made him a traitor towards the nation.

He is ok if his wife who had undergone brain surgery recently leave his life but he can’t tell about Shriti and SAHAS .

HE went ahead and became the proxy husband to another woman that made him father to her child without his wife’s consent.

By writing Mrs Chavan for Shriti he made Sai fall in danger. If investigation happened the real Mrs Chavan will come under scanner.

Vankar made him disloyal and dumb.

I can’t support Virat in this track.

Your post is awesome. I have completely stopped going to the forum. But , yesterday the TRPs wasn't posted in the thread , so I was compelled to go there though I knew what I will have to bear.

Coming to your post I simply loved it. In making Sai a saint people are downtrodding Virat's love and sacrifice. Is this right? And, in their blind hatred they have forgotten the basic etiquettes and are making him fall even more.

I too am done with these people.

Lakshmi, I am not saying you should hail virat. I am also not understanding his thought process that much in this track. It is ok to not agree with what’s shown. I am not at all saying virat is great! I am observing people projecting their offscreen love on characters. That will take away the connection with characters

For example: I have seen many topics on why sai is so weak and why she is behaving like That for virat. Some say she forgot her dream etc etc. how can sai Joshi stick to the so called template of strong woman ? Does it mean all strong women are insensitive? Don’t have strong feelings?! Not identifying with sais pain is not understanding her character in my opinion. Similarly you don’t agree with what virat is doing now, I agree. But making him a womanizer, 3 timer, bhabhi something is not just right!

another example, in the story it is shown and said that virat admitted sruthi as his wife because he need not provide her ID. This cannot be validated with real world scenario right? In real world scenario a young IPs officer will not be posted in his home town! There are several such rules.. bringing them to vilify a character sometimes virat sometimes sai looks silly. Bringing in too much off screen stuff will take away the charm of characters: pakhi is destroyed as people see her as neil’s wife more than virat’s ex. That’s where my problem is. Why not follow the story that makers are showing. And make judgements based on that. For me Ayesha and Neil come into picture when I want to praise their acting. Now coming to the forum, I am confused who they are taking about Ayesha or sai, Neil or virat!

Also, the makers have given enough dialogues and conversations to understand the character mindset for a week! Even now after seeing how much sai loves virat, if people ask for new man! It is putting down sai’s feelings. I understand her pain and as I know virat’s situation I hope for a beautiful reunion. That is something which shows sticking with the story and plot.

Sorry I am not judging anyone’s opinion just elaborating why I am pissed off 😤

I agree with everything you said. I never judge them based on off screen issues. It is not right.

I don’t agree with this pseudo feminism. A strong woman doesn’t need to fit herself in the rules formed by these people.
