Gul’s heroes are arrogant, dominating, egoist, bossy and judgmental guy,. Yeah, they all are pretty dominating in an unapologetic way…. Even Johanna Lindsey and Judith mcnaught most heroes are alpha males… now when I am mature and read these stories again find them very toxic males….

The serial I saw where the shaadi was stopped at the sindoor point was Kayamath. Prachi should have married the guy who loved her - cannot remember why it was stopped but she wore a beautiful purple lehenga, she went on to marry pushy bully Milind who made her marry him as a business deal he made her life a misery at first, then fell in love with her, while her erstwhile lover eventually went mad and started killing people for revenge.

Sounds a bit familiar to me.......
