But from what I've understood, the main plot of nammkaran revolved around Avni's mother, played by Barkha bisht, right? I though they deviated from the core characters and plot as the story got more popular post leap.

Did Barkha bisht play a character that had resemblance with someone in Mahesh bhatt's life?

Script :
