I really liked both the episodes this week, both Dua and Mustajab are not ready to accept each other with their respective ideologies, Mustajab being a clinically obsessed case wants to own her completely to a point of trying to own her physically too whereas Dua out of now where connecting everything with religion and deen .. Lmao, both are gone cases, obviously Dua is the saner one but she’s stupid, like who the hell marries and then figures out about husband’s religious views? Like she had literally two dates and four full fledged conversations with Mustajab and she never asked him about his priorities and kept behaving sanskari but abb shaadi ke baad pata chala that he’s an atheist and now out of nowhere in any talk she’s like Allah se mohabbat na ho toh I can’t trust you, really? I would like it more if she would say that I can’t trust you because you’ve manipulated me to come with you or you’re not understanding my boundaries but no it’s because he’s making a choice of not being a believer? 🤣
Having said that, Mustajab needs help, he’s a true blue clinical case and his mother is completely responsible. I loved the mosque scene, so beautiful and cute, it signifies that soon Mustajab will go towards a spiritual journey and in the process lose his object of affection that’s Dua. I also liked how he said that he’s not going to come between Dua and her God, signifying that at-least he still understands that she can make a choice otherwise the way he’s behaving it’s completely scary, and his obsession with Dua is real, it’s not even a revenge as I initially thought.
I can’t believe the way Feroze is performing, he’s making us creep out of the psychotic Mustajab and he’s that good that you love to hate Mustajab from the core of your nerves, he’s just brilliant, he owned both the episode especially the 6th one, what mammoth screen presence, needs more appreciation than KAM3 performance! Sana is doing great too, but with 6 episodes through I can see it’s again centered around Feroze and he got the role of a lifetime I feel, it’s so complicated that it might take us till last episode to unfold Mustajab, the writer indeed gave a lot of thought to pen him down and I hope it stays consistent, it’s proven again that female writers write iconic male leads like no other. I also like how Dua is written, she’s not spineless and she can voice her opinion, like she took the decision to marry Mustajab singlehandedly, she also calls him out and she also gives thought to his words. It’s just I still don’t understand her religious self being relevant to Mustajab’s arc, maybe it’ll be explored but now she comes off as just questioning or should I say demeaning his ideology, not being a believer is not a bad quality, it’s a choice a human being makes and rightfully.
Sana and Feroze have a wonderful chemistry, they looked divine during the nikaah scene taking glances of each other and ahh the smile on Mustajab’s face when Dua says kabool, that’s such a glorious moment and I was 🥳.. if he wouldn’t be a psycho it would be more glorious but beggars can’t be choosers, I’m just glad that I got to see a proper nikaah where both Feroze and Sana are in love, geo fulfilling the long awaited wish of fandom. 😆
I’m excited for next week, Mustajab and his mom, kya items hai, end mei both will get khaak but right now they’re entertaining 🤪
