Ok. Conspiracy theory alert!!!!
Remember all the while back before Diwali, when in that E-buzz interview, the same as the cake cutting one, Alice and KD had this inside joke about "who will tell first" going on?
And that joke was pulled out right after them talking about how it's only Shivi's egos stopping them from admitting their care for each other, right? Alice looked ther slightest bit too smug to me when taking about Shiva screaming an ILU.... Did we just spot some kind of bet going on there? They seem to be the type who might do that, so here's a little content...
A LONG, LONG, TIME AGO.... (Around Diwali on the show)
Alice snuggled in closer to him, the rains were making the whole city colder, plus, she had been waiting for an excuse now. He chuckled, tightening his arms around her, figuring that if she had a good nap, he could probably cajole her into making him a cup of coffee. There was just something about the way she made it that hit him so good every time.
"I can hear you think, Kanwar. Sone hi nahi deta naa tu mujhe?", she said. God, she sounded so grumpy. If cute little bunnies were capable of sounding grumpy, that is. "Kuch nahi, tu so jaa. Vaise, aaj kal tu zyada naps nahi le rahi hain, hmm?", he asked, his every present concern for her rising up with how easily exhausted she seemed to get these days.
She turned around in his arms, facing him now and cupping his cheeks as she replied, her eyes soft and melting. His Alice in Wonderland, the smallest things could make her look like that. "Nahi, bas, this track is a bit emotionally draining, aur kuch nahi." And then her grumpy face making a comeback, "But Raavi deserves to know! Ki Shiva usse pyaar karta hain!"
"But she's the one who left, Alice... He needs to know she wants him as her husband first, aur voh kuch zyada nahi maang raha hain, haina? Because for him it's all or nothing", he tried to explain to her, knowing that she had a comeback ready. She was so defensive of Raavi, as attached to the character as she was.
She sat up, out of his arms, he thought grumpily. "Bilkul nahi! Raavi ko tho dar lagta hain! Ki yeh mujhse abhi bhi kahin nafrat tho nahi karta, tho voh kaise bolegi? Shart laga ke bol rahi hoon, Shiva hi pehle I Love You bolega, aur tu bas dekhte rehna!"
Offended on behalf of Shiva, Kanwar had been quick to strike what he had thought was a winning bet. "Pakka? Shart laga ke peeche nahi hath paayegi?".
" Main nahi hatungi! Main kyun hatungi? Main tho jeetungi na?". "Fine", he said, and tapping her on the top of her nose cutely stuck up in the air, he said "Lagi shart".
PRESENT DAY.... (when shooting the rescue sequence)
Kanwar had been talking you the stunt dada, making sure that all the safety measures they could possibly take were taken. Both for himself, and for Alice. She simply wouldn't do it, and he knew she was afraid if nights already. All the knowledge would just go above her head right now.
After double, triple checking, personally checking the fit for the harnesses once, he decided it was time to learn the dialogues. He walked away to the chairs they'd set up for the crew, only to see Alice bouncing her way towards him.
"Kanwar! I won!!!!", she screamed, jumping onto him with her arms going around his neck. "Kya jeet gayi?", he asked, only to be met by her unstoppable giggling. "Alice, bolo tho sahi pehle!", he asked, and she shoved the script into his face.
"Yaha dekho", she pointed, and he did, only to see an I LOVE YOU RAAVI! printed there. Beside the character name, Shiva.
He should have known not to bet against her. Lucky charm for him only while on his side, clearly. He sighed, he had a lot of boasting to handle now.
