Sai made ninad to understand his mistakes during ash ninad anniversary track. That time sai was matured and sensible one. But whenever sai asks a valid question to virat to become immature. And dont interfere in my personal matters. If sai avoids him, your not giving respect to me. I know there is no value for me in your life like this he starts accusing sai and goes to self victimization mode.

Watching old episodes makes me feel sad because even though he did some questionable things then, he was never this callous in his words/actions. You could comnect with several of his conflicts. You could pardon his mistakes because they were never deliberate. Everyone including Sai on the show acknowledges Virat's contribution in her life and also in supporting her. Watching old scenes of Sairat in ZA during college admission scene makes me yearn for good scenes like that....You would think that with time they'd show progress in the characters but here they are in reverse gear. Now even when Virat says they are equal in the marriage and everyone should take pride in her achievements like they do in his- it lacks the conviction.

And they have made an ACP into a law breaking guy.

They have shown a sensitive, mature guy repeatedly ignore his wife's insecurities. Its just sad how they hace diluted and butchered the character.

First he pulled in Pakhi, then got emotionally tangled with Sai without clearing things with Pakhi; now having an emotional pregnant widow dependent on him, while his wife stands by in tears thinking he’s having an affair. My view is that his biggest flaw is he thinks whatever happens in the moment is the end all be all. He met Pakhi and in a minute he decided he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. When she agreed to marry his brother, he promised her he’d NEVER love anyone but Pakhi. Kamal Sir died and he married Sai, but told her he will NEVER love her. Every moment for him is an absolute. Now he promised Shruti he will ALWAYS be there for her. Why not for once say, “I‘ll try my best”? So you have three woman who trusted your promises and none of them are happy and you look like a cheater to at least two of them. Shruti will soon be a victim of his failed promises and then they’ll be three of them let down by Virat. I don’t know the character sketch originally written for him, but to say his character has been butchered, is an understatement.

Yes. Always completely unrealistic in his assessment of his own ability to fulfill certain obligations and also of his expectations from people.

I love how you've rightly pointed out that Sai is the younger, impressionable, innocent, naive one who has been left lonely in life and is extremely vulnerable- she longs for a confidant, some one who is exclusively hers. Literally threw her unguarded in front of his vulture family. She had more reasons to seek emotional comfort from someone else. A girl from a village, enters a city like nagpur, goes to college, meets and makes new friends, has pressure of medical studies and instability in her family life...still she maintained her boundaries, being the vulnerable teenager but a 30-35 year old who has his full family on his side, can't.

Even if everyone in CN decides to be mature, patient and believes at the get go that Virat has a legit reason to be in a hotel room with another woman and even lie about her identity as his wife ....even then isnt just the fact that he hid all this from his own wife utterly unacceptable. If Virat for whatever reason felt "humiliated" by lack of acknowledgement or bitterness because of Sai's speech in public , then how much humiliation would Sai feel at this stunt of Virat's. Theres no comparison because one was a veiled jibe that only Virat, family and us as the audience understood- not the audience in the auditorium, it was an expression of her anger and hurt whereas Virats actions were conscious decisions, choices- not an impulsive thing. He hasnt lost his cool here, or been caught off guard. He has consciously done things which he knows will hurt Sai without so much as preparing her for it mentally and now he is getting irritated at being questioned. He is not even seeking to diffuse the tension and reassure them. If you are ever in a position where you are unable to disclose something but your loved ones are getting worked up, wont you try harder and repeatedly to calm them down. It obviously cannot be one and done. Ki I told you- be patient and wait for sahi wakt but you're not so now I will act as if you are the problem and I am the victim. His body language is one of victim while it should be of the peacemaking person trying to placate his rightfully concerned family.

Why does no one remember why his expectations are not met, when it has been openly discussed several times in front of the family. SaiRat relationship lacks trust, emotional intimacy and stability, it all comes across as materialistic.

Virat is coming across as a self centered idiot, I really want Shruti to plan some bombings while pretending to be abla naari for raja babu to use his brains...this insensitive guy needs a reality check, his everything starts with mai mera, ends with mai mera.

For once, can sai repeat the stunts pulled by him, to make him realise the taste of his own medicine.

This is the issue, I can't connect to the track from the start, a person killing a naxalite because of his duty, says friendship is more important than duty after he killed his best friend for duty. There is no conflict, how did he come to conclusion that he is right, how he thought that Sai will be proud, how he is making everything all the more obvious and suspicious.

You got a similar scene to college admission in today's episode but the difference is virat taking active stand for his muh boli wife now..😆

It's a shame the way they have presented their male lead being an IPS officer.

He never cared about his wife's insecurities, everything was always about him alone. He felt takleef, he felt jealous, he doesn't like his wife fake flirting with other men, everything was about he and him alone.
