A character like Sultan in the hands of the writers of that show was like a diamond in the rock which managed to shine nevertheless. He deserved better and more intelligent writing than the treatment meted out to him by his own creators. The fact that he did not have anyone who was absolutely loyal to him or prioritised him without any sort of manipulation is the tragedy of the character. This is why to imagine someone like Noora who is not just level headed but transparent as well by his side feels gratifying❤️
@bold,True. And her pre conceived notions about people led her to develop a judgemental outlook which categorized everyone into black or white. Wherever her character is headed to in this story,I wholeheartedly trust you to ensure that we are going to have fun with it 😆😉
@red,I was going through the chapters again(couldn't help it) and I took the liberty of imagining Sarah Khan as Noora.😉 Not only is she a bombshell but smart, confident and independent characters actually look great on her. Moreover just imagining her alongside Danny is a visual delight.
Exactly. To write such a brilliant character and to get such a phenomenal and intelligent performer like Danish to essay it on screen still lead to lousy writing. I honestly feel that Danish himself could've suggested a better storyline for his character 😆
@bold: this is what hurt me the most. Sultan literally did everything for everyone without batting an eyelid. His chachajaan and family's lavish life was sponsored by Sultan yet they treated him like some kind of award that could be bought for Narmeen. The only woman who ever saw as the one he could spend the rest of his life with never heard him out initially or gave him a fare chance. The only person who was there for him was his friend Fawad. But obviously he had a life of his own and could not have taken care of Sultan 24/7. Imo if I were Fawad, I would have genuinely set up Sultan on a blind date and asked him to go for it as a favour. And find him the kind of girl he could have fallen madly in love with.
No wonder you feel my pain and have started liking Noora.
Wow you trust me so much man, I am flattered 😆 All I can say is she won't be there much, but whatever ending I have for her, I hope it satisfies y'all 😆
I am loving the fact that you're giving it a second read! Makes me so freakin happy!
If Sarah's your Noora then go for it 😉 She can be whomsoever you want her to be. I had basically modelled her physically on those beauty traits that aren't popular today. Like normal almond shaped eyes, stubby-leaning to bulbous nose, lower up fuller than upper (ie not injected), round face, medium sized eyebrows which aren't over-groomed.
I pretty much detest the unrealistic standards of beauty set these days and because plastic surgery has become accessible to everyone, it's become the norm. I am not against these procedures, but why set such standards which don't even exist naturally in real life?
There are so many girls in the real world who are super stunning and don't fall into any of those guidelines. Personally, I don't fall into those too, now idk whether I'd be considered pretty by y'all or no and I am not posting a picture (😆) but I can turn heads whenever I want to. 😆
While I cannot change whats considered as "normal" today, I can definitely make my protagonists look different.
Sarah does fit that bracket to a certain extent, so I'd say good job 😆 I promise you though, the time I find a picture of someone who I think fits Noora's look, I'll post it 😆
