When Neil acted well despite not so great characterization, he was praised. So when he is not acting well, he will be called out. Characterization is one aspect, acting is another. Characterization, story, dialogues direction, editing, screenplay are all being criticized. Neil as Virat is capable of nuances but he is screwing up currently. He needs to pull up his socks. He is one half of Sairat and right now he is missing the mark. Not always. He is good in some scenes but he is not as consistent as he used to be.

And he does his own make up so if his make up is messed up, cant blame anyone but him.

I guess since the topic was about costumes and makeup, as far as I know both the leads Neil and Aish do their own mostly, atleast the makeup, admitted by themselves. And Ayesha is shown to have someone do it for. So certainly if makeup department is blamed the right people are being blamed. I do think Ayesha needs to show a conscious effort there. She might or might not have a say, but then I am sure she can provide her inputs.

Ayesha's real style is dramatically different from Sai. And given that her makeup is also done by a professional, at some level shes kind of surrendering to their expertise and the makers demand for the look they want to give her....

How much these guys take her input- dunno 🤷

Its disappointing that for this Sai centric fuction her outfit is meh.... because recently they had been doing good hair, make up, styling for her ....nazar lag gayi i guess.

When Virats costume sucks, we blame stylist coz we know thats not on him. But makeup toh khud hi karta hai.....
