Ok let me ask this to you guys who are being sensitive over here. I am not justifying abhi act but do you think akshu is someone who would let a man harass her just like that. It's a big no. Both are two confused souls who doesn't know what they are doing to themselves. Just look at akshu eyes how much she wants to be with him at that moment. Yet they are both committing mistake after mistake like if he had wanted to stay away from her he should have never choosen aarohi. He did and now these two along with aarohi are facing the consequences. If aarohi sees them like this another two times she might simply yell at akshu for having an affair with her fiance. This is the main thing that will lead to all their encounters.

Instead of being perfect guy and butchered later. It is better to have a flawed character that will improve later.

A lot of women are stuck in abusive relationships. The biggest example is Kaira themselves. Kartik manhandled Naira all the time. He emotionally tortured her all the time. And Naira let him. Does that make it okay just because they are married?

And here AbhiRa are not married or even in a relationship. She clearly said she doesn't love him. There could be a hundred reasons why she is keeping quiet. May be she doesn't want thamasha. She doesn't want Aarohi to barge in hearing the ruckus. So many reasons. Just because she keeps quiet doesn't mean she is okay with his behavior (it's a different fact altogether that the writers are showing us Akshu's madly in love with him, which is what makes it romanticisation of an abhorrent act).

Now let's come to real life. A couple who had gone through break-up because of family reasons and not lack of love, acting like this in their common workplace is still harrasment. And it should be seen as one. Whatever the kind of relationship, every relationship has an ethics. This attitude and the so called sacrility associated with marriage is exactly what stops India from criminalizing marital rapes. Just because two people are married and love each other, rape doesn't stop becoming rape. Forcing yourself over another person without consent is wrong. Period.

It's a societal issue. Only more gender sensitization and community awareness will change it. And shows like these keep normalizing it.

PS: not saying Abhi raped Akshu. 🙄

Yes that manhandling scene looked like in bad taste.

If they gave some dialogue to akshara like 'I will complain about you if you harras me' would have been great.
