Even if extended its not for a long term period it will end Jan or Feb unless of course production house changes its mind?

I dont normally talk about other shows out of respect for present show but as an example cite that I was a big follower of Immj2 & no one was more surprised than me that despite high ratings it was pulled off air by Colours and went online on Voot & after that Rishtey showed the remaining 3rd season till it ended. I dont somehow see the same happening for this show unless another production house takes it on? That would be good if that happened but writers would have to be changed & new team brought in if they want to follow original storyline

.

Sorry dont mean to offend but just putting my opinion as I see it.- there is no right or wrong but at the end of the day its in hands of production house as to what they choose to do.

For me I'd like to end the show whenever it is dec/jan or later on a good note 😀

the issue here is the cvs BIG let down i agree if they wake and start a new chapter then maybe something can happen but why do i feel like they don't care about this show. same show is coming on bengali channel same BG but i don't think i can watch those shows the leads don't appeal me at all but writers sure gonna work hard to make it a hit. there are many bengali show that is being shown on another channel and its trp is high why bc makers are keen to make it work while ours is still being lazy despite having good cast. again lets see what happens

Just saw the eisode. Will definitely make Anjol fans happy. They cleared each and everything. And Kajol told everything about Priyanka and her mother to Anurag unlike the fear that she won’t.

Like I predicted, Anurag will do some drama now to expose the friend. The writers are pretty predictable by this point lol.

As for Priyanka being a worthy opponent to Shreya, Sorry I disagree because no offence but Patrali (Shreya) has mad acting chops and her voice modulation is superb while the actress who plays Priyanka lacked both in the scenes today. They failed to create the impact they should have.

Anyway, a happier episode for most after two weeks of absolute torture. Hope they at least give a week to Anjol fans before jumping on to the next drama.

I have every hope that the CVs are going to go down a bigger Rabbit hole for the next drama/MU. They have already set up for it. With the on location videos in Red Saari we can see major drama happening. So the show will be back to square one soon. This was one of those rare full moon nights where they lost their minds and gave us something good.

This episode was however one that validated everything we have been saying here. I am damn sure that someone from the Creative team is reading our rants here. 😂😂😂😂

It was good that this episode highlighted the trauma of Arjun's betrayal and Anurag saying that take as much time to love and trust and not forcing her (Kajol) to make a choice then there. I was surprised as I don't expect ITV heroes to be this understanding.

Kajol is broken and bruised and has difficulty trusting and her harshness to Anurag was a reaction to the pain she could not express during the whole Arjun fiasco. Because you tend to hurt the ones who love you ( not just the ones you love) because it is human nature to expect more from people.

In the past episodes Kajol has been getting a lot of negative reaction from many Anjolians about her stubborn disregard for Anurag's feelings but this episode delved into the reasoning and even though again it is Anurag who verbalises it. I was like finally the CVs are showing some true basic human reactions and interactions.

I liked the fact that atleast they are showing Kajol trying to move on and love and not become so fearful of pain that comes with heartbreak 💔💔💔💔 that she rejects every possibility of happiness. (This again is an ITV trope that heroine becomes too anti love or obsessed with the man who betrayed her example Tejo from Udaariyan, that she rejects the overtures of the next good guy to come her way.

Hahaha. Indeed. A lollipop of an episode before the next drama dawns. But I am travelling this week so hopefully will be spared LOL.

I have some thoughts on the leads’ chemistry in the scenes today but will dm you those 😆

Agreed, they are showing Kajol moving on again in life from her first love, almost an impossible feat in ITV lol. This show had good ideas, but unfortunately the execution and lack of creative storytelling ruined everything. As for Udaariyan, I am done with that show for good since they are now wrapping up Angad’s track to make way for Fatejo. ITV is extremely regressive period.

I was able finally see the Original Anurag and Kajol.

This episode was brilliant. The words about the death were the catalyst and got Kajol to admit her love and Anurag's persistence got her to reveal the stalker and the enabler drama.

Anurag tricks Kajol into coming to the Dargah. Kajol is justifiably furious. But what follows is the most beautiful human interaction of two lovers talking from their hearts.

Anurag who was playing games was not the Anurag I wanted to see. This is the guy who is no nonsense and tells Kajol the truth because he is guy who hates lies and deceit so cannot continue like that. And Kajol fulfilled her role as the bruised survivor of a heartbreak. Her every word resonated with her experience and Anurag understood where she was coming from, understood her trauma that she came through with Arjun. And the promise and also his wish to go to war for Kajol. He wishes to teach Priyanka a lesson and avenge Kajol. I have spoiled enough rest you guys watch.

If the writers could have maintained this standard, this show would have been immovable and unbeatable.

Side note: Priyanka is completely delusional, and a complete stalker as we have discussed before and her backstory is also highlighted, her father's abandonment issues that has led to her insecurity and obsession with the first man who gave her attention and even friendly affection. And the whole separate scene running parallelly where she is getting dressed as a bride and getting more and more delusional was brilliant as well. First time I found Priyanka to be a worthy villian.

Gave me Kathy Bates feels from Misery and more aptly reminded me of Glenn Close from Fatal Attraction.

Hi

Agreed with everything written on this post. Yet, despite the fact that this episode was brilliantly shot, I don’t think I can watch this show without feeling annoyed anymore. I understand I’m probably the only one who still feels very triggered by the slap and what I think is a romanticization of slapping, but maybe I think i expected too much from ITV/for some reason was cocksure Anjol would be completely away from this trope/it just left a major distaste for me due to that part. Agreed that the rest of the epi was simply superb and loved the camera angles, setting and music too on a side note, but no matter how well done an episode or show or movie is, this will still be something problematic for me that I can never gloss over/stop speaking about.

But I’m not sure I can continue with watching the show at least for a few more days, largely because of how personally triggering I find this part to be (thinking I’ll take a break from the show like the time they messed up the dowry part). I guess show doesn’t have much time anyhow, but happy watching y’all! It is really really fun ranting about the show and fangirling over Anjol with everyone haha

i haven't watched the episode yet but this slap method has been used many times and i had seen a show where the guy slapped the girl and some fans were happy about that but that slap was useless one....came out of nowhere but here anurag wants to trigger her to speak and if that means saying wish he was dead which made kajol react by slapping him then it's cvs fault. i came across a show where girl is slapping another girl for a good cause here only difference is bc anurag is nice and he means no harm. slapping is wrong i agree but seeing the precap i understand the reason to.

Slaps again are tropes, that are ITV favourites I mean this show has used plenty. I don't get triggered when a guy gets slapped but do when a girl gets slapped. It is a bias but to be honest we women have always been treated as second class citizens and when a woman is slapped it deals more with the subjugation and also the fact that the humiliation factor for women is to take it as part and parcel of life. That is why Thapad the movie was something that I really appreciated.

I agree violence of any kind breeds more violence but until you pointed it out I have been pretty uncaring about the fact that it was the Male Lead that got slapped. And if Kajol can slap him then he too has every right to slap her. This I would find triggering for sure.

So agree they should have done without the slap because the reverse would have been unpalatable for me. They could have chosen just to have her cover his mouth with her hands or something. The slap was OTT but I think we the audiences have normalised it by accepting that Female Leads may do this from time to time.

I am going to draw a parallel here with Beintehaa, there post the talak when Zain is trying to use memories and childish behaviour to get Aaliya to forgive him and when she tries to walk away he holds on to her tightly and she slaps him, in that scene we see her anger and pain but also her guilt for slapping Zain. I think that scene was one where the slap was dealt with the right kind of feelings as everyone around was shocked and the silence that had followed spoke volumes. In this episode by normalising a slap we are normalising the violence that happens within a relationship.

So I agree this is a trope that should end soon as it has a more insidious and darker meaning on the whole of normalising violence of any kind within the family or relationships.

Yeah

I think also- this was something I had lost sight of yesterday (when I pointed out that this shouldn’t be condoned)- but sometimes when movies or shows romanticize these things, it becomes hard for a viewer to notice that what they have watched and applauded for is probably something problematic unless there’s some sort of a triggering point for a person. For me at least, I have a trigger towards this thing which was why I noticed it quickly but because of this trigger, also totally lost my shit and could not control my rage. But yes, this sort of responsibility falls completely on people creating the story

I watched the episode and I must say thank goodness tht Anurag and Kajol spoke today like 2 grown ups....finally. Damn it was abt time. And I am glad tht Kajol told Anurag everything. I was the one who had the biggest doubt tht Kajol would act like Mother India again.

But thank goodness for small mercies...I think if Anurag didnt shout at her, she would go into Mother India mode...

Now he knows abt card, wedding, pics and kangans...

What I found hell annoying abt this episode though is the constant flipping btwn AnJol scenes & tht psycho...

And sorry to say, but Priyanka looked more like a mad woman who ran away from Mental Asylum than a vamp.

Shreya is the perfect vamp....I see this actress for the 1st time and I must say she is doing a brilliant job as the Vamp Shreya....she has the class, the voice, the poise....everything. She is awesome...

Preeti as Priyanka lacks all the skills in acting....no offense.

She seriously needs some acting lessons, becoz her expressions remain the same in every episode....and the amount of make up tht she uses....🙄🙄

Normally I dont discuss the actors / actresses, but the characters. But in this case I am talking abt acting skills becoz I see them for the 1st time.....and its clear cut which one of them stands out.

Ishi I also see for the 1st time and she is fantastic as well....she suits the character of Kajol completely.
