Loving the present gen hubbies

Who are intelligent enough not to tie the wifves down in so called shackles called marriage as is considered the norm in asian societies

The reason why actresses used to think career ends with marriage and babies

But the way present gen gals are coming back with a bang after marriage and babies is so commendable

Miya just two episodes and their scenes are already so good and refreshing, it’s amazing how it’s their fourth show together and I’m still so excited to see them romance .. lol 😂

This is a rather interesting analogy here. But if a comparison has to be drawn between Sultan and any other character then they do need to be on a levelled playing field and have other traits in common besides being madly in love with their respective romantic interests. And if we have to pick someone from Feroze's filmography that can be compared to Sultan then it is only Mustajab for both men have a few other similarities besides getting rejected initially by women they are drawn to. Hamza and Farhad, with all their flaws, were victims of hypocrisy and fate respectively who didn't deserve what they got. Hadi's fatal flaw was that he was too uninhibited and,to a certain degree, antisocial.

Sultan was modelled on the archetypal irresistible alpha male dripping with sex appeal who came from old money and built an empire of his own. He could be ruthless when needed and gentle if he wanted to. In my opinion, what made him unique or hatke was that he was a living contradiction in himself. A man with an extremely shrewd and calculative mind who, when controlled by his emotions, possessed the ability to destroy as well as self destruct. His worst mistakes were made when he was completely pushed into a corner and when his feelings,be it obsession or vindictiveness, clouded his ability to think rationally. The writing of the drama was lopsided, especially towards the end,but Danish is indeed one beauty of an actor who carried the show until the very end.

Mustajab's journey has just begun and is engaging in its own right. I hope he entertains us well.

Yes Hamza and Farhad are no way even borderline similar to what Sultan was, while with Mustajab we can say he is shrewd and can be an equal comparison, but from whatever I have seen of Mustajab in the first two episodes, it seems like he still is the more cunning yet the more likable one amongst the two merely because of the fact that he will actually not dare to or want to play with someone's and say it his lady's honor to avenge his rejection. Also, the fact that Sultan was publicly humiliated by the girl and Mustajab is not, makes it an uneven comparison, but I feel someone like Mustajab would never even let a situation like that to arise while Sultan swayed by his emotions let it happen. Hence, I feel he was a potential Mir Hadi till the track where I could not see any redeeming qualities in him.

I feel Sultan is a close call with Feroze's Adeel, who was despicable and committed questionable acts, yet his redemption arc even though short had so much depth and hope, at the end a handicap Adeel haunts you more than anything else in the show. It's interesting how Feroze and Danish are such great actors and have carried such complex, and despicable characters with panache that majority wanted a happy ending for them, with Mir Hadi I myself wanted him to live and be in peace and thank god he did, his redemption arc is the best one in desi TV both ITV and PTV combined, I despise happy endings if the female leads out of the blue forgive the male leads without the male leads earning it, in case of Mir Hadi, he earned the sympathy from his audience, partly due to the writing and more because of the performance. I just cannot forgive the writers for Hamza and especially Farhad, when Mir Hadi could get a happy ending, Farhad did not get one, it is unacceptable for me, I will be salty for all my life.

Aisa nai hai ke Sultan didn't have any quality ..he did ..he had a heart , but his ego and narcissistic personality took over ..unlike mustajab, he did fall hard for the girl ..thy derailed the story and butchered him completely by showing him black towards the end otherwise half way through, he was awesome..when he took revenge, when he married impulsively , it was great till that point ..sad, the writer could have shown his repentance but all characters went crazy in the end..ishquia way ..

See , I think mustajab fell in love with her in the first meeting itself ..now he wants her at any cost and he is boiling inside bec of the rejection ...dua is smitten , no doubt..nai hai toh ho jayegi...if he is marrying for revenge, he is kinda ...one step ahead of sultan 😆 but I hope it's different and they get married and they r unable to adjust to each others ideologies ..n towards the end they show a positive journey , which i doubt , but it's ok if it's a satisfying journey.

I feel like both Dua and Mustajab already have mutual attraction and like each other, but for Mustajab right now he is disturbed with the rejection and his ego has clouded the liking he has for her. However, I can already see him being a a nice and romantic husband too post marriage, giving her attention and not treating her like what he would if it was only for the sake of revenge and teaching her a lesson. As you have said, even I feel it will be clash of ideologies and some day Dua will also learn that his initial motive to marry her was his ego and zidd, and obviously his lifestyle in USA and multiple ex girl friends might show up and create a mess for him.

I am just craving to see the falling in love phase for Dua, as the falling in love phase has been missing from KAM3 and I am so so glad that here we will get dates, shaadi, ruthna manana and angst filled judaai, this is everything a super hit pair like Feroze-Sana needed to light up the screen.

Coming back to Sultan, his revenge was bigger than his love, the way he loved her, he even destroyed her with equal intensity, hence I could never sympathize with him, and left the show post Nageen's marriage with Haroon. Sultan deserved a proper redemption arc, may be after he is separated from his child, they could have shown something like Haroon is bad and Sultan saves Nageen from a bad husband and marriage, like there could be many ways to dilute the crime which he did by practically harassing her honor and ruining her whole life claiming it as his revenge/love. Hamza loved Humna and married Rumi in vengeance but he never could spoil Humna's image or honor even though he had the resources, hence he came off as a victim too, a victim of fate and his own misery and still did not get a forgiveness.

When I look back to all Feroze's characters, his sanki characters are more interesting and has more arc, and is obviously iconic compared to the vanilla characters he has played, no wonder writers write all these twisted tales for him only. And you already know how Feroze sold Farhad which would be close to impossible had someone played it, so yeah I think audience themselves like to see someone who is twisted and suffers, vanilla things probably died with Fawad's departure from drama, and even Fawad himself played all problematic characters like Ashar Zaroon.

The way he always looks at her, who can say Mustajab is all planning, he actually will love her, I am so sure.

You are right. I am not bored of them yet. The same as Affan and Hira.. some on screen couples have something new to offer.. to make you fall in love with them again and again. And Feroze/Sana are among them.

Feroze isn't the ideal goodlooking guy.. but his persona makes girls drool over him.. Sana has the attitude to pull off this character well. And the clash between 2 strong ppl is always a treat to watch.

I am very happy that it airs twice a week, coz I can't wait for long to get my dose of them.smiley9
