Inappropriate because they are using the name of Krishna to justify this man's multiple relationships.

Unrealistic isn't in the sense that anuj or his so called love is something great but instead the assumption that people like anuj are lovers in the very first place.

That does now make differenve. Anupama ne graduation nahin complete kiya to anupama 12,th paas hi maani jaayegi

Jub rakhi pehli baar shah house mein aayi thi tub leela, ne rakhi ko bataaya, ki anupama 12 th pass hai aur rakhi ne tosbu ko bola, ki tumne bataya nahin ki tumhaari mother graduate bhi nahi hai

I would have whole-heartedly accepted it had it been a journey about Anupamaa wanting to be with Anuj and the world objecting to it. But sadly it isn't. I find it extremely degrading for Anuj to constantly put his health, sanity and reputation at stake to save Anupamaa from situations which she could easily get out of by just standing for herself. Anuj doesn't need this, he deserves better!

The only time he made sense was when he urged Anupamaa to walk out of Shah house but quickly retracted when Devika warned him that she will never value her own life over the Shahs, let alone Anuj's opinion.

If you wanna see a show about a woman wanting a second chance at love after being in a repressed marriage for a long time and fighting society to justify it, please watch the Pakistani show Dobara. It's available on youtube in most countries including India.

That make sense ki jab college dropout hai to 12th pass hi maani jayegi , I agree.

They've often used Meera's devotion as an example, not Lord Krishna. For the part where he shares his bday with Janmashtami, are you going to call evryone born on Janmashtami inappropriate?

And why can't people like Anuj be lovers? Is love reserved for only some categories of people?

First don't misinterpret my words , you know i clearly didn't mean that.

and yes to love someone does require a certain heart.

I'm seriously against the use of krishna's character by the show to justify a petty human's biological urges.

Anuj’s hindu calendar birthday being on the same day as janmashtmi , gk addressing him as kanha and describing all that number of matrimonial options , devika calling him prem bhakt , young girls wishing him to be their groom when clearly he is of their uncle’s age (mandir scene) , anuj being seen as the kanha in anupama’s life whether as a friend or lover , and most importantly kapadia himself elaborating his varied and failed relationships with women without a tinge of shame . Obviously the show has been trying to analogise him with krishna . He is described as some 'all women want that guy' type when clearly he looks like any other man standing at traffic signal.

Seems like they benightedly took inspiration from Krishna without caring to stop and think till which extent all this was relevant.

I hope free speech and opinion sharing isn’t hindered regardless of the fondness for some particular character, the very principle of an open forum .

Whats so inappropriate? Cannot you love a person full life

Yes its tough to get such humans in real life in 21 st century because ppl are basically selfish and think about themselves only

So ideally by now anuj should have married for 20 years and had teenager kids

But he stayed single

Nothing is divine in anuj. Thats called a good decent human who livves for his family and love and helps all around even enemies

Before people were like that they took care of younger siblings after marraige too took care of parents took care of friends or cousins in 1950s and 60s may be

Now no one does does not mean we cannot imagine such a person in todays time

Anuj definetly is not Lord Krishna inspiration that could be vanraj

Anuj is more like romeo or majnu or salim etc who would do anything for their love

I agree with you such people do not exist now but may be 100 years or 500 years back definetly such people selfless person existed and anuj is modelled on such person

Hence audience like him as such ppl do not exist in reality now

But we wish someone like him as a son brother and hubby or friend in everyones life

Yes he dated others but could not move on in life that does not make him bad or unbelievable

Some people become widow at young age and do not remarry

Some people have sibling and parents responsibility so do not marry all life

Some have failed love like anuj and do not marry
