Marriage is not a joke. Abhimanyu thinks he has made things clear by telling Arohi that he loves her sister and this marriage is only for his mother but that doesn't reduce the value of this sacred relationship nor does it make it easy for him to shrug off his responsibilities towards Arohi.

Cheating is cheating whether it is physical, emotional or mental. He cannot think of Akshu, he cannot dream of Akshu and he can't pull her close on the pretext of helping clumsy Akshu.

Actually no it won't be cheating because he made clear to her he loves her sister so if he's lost in a moment with Akshu that won't be his fault.

Cheating are people who cheat behind partners and lies about it but Abhimanyu didn't lie to her nor is hiding anything.

he can't use the excuse of I already told you that I love your sister and that's why I'm dreaming of her and getting lost in the moment. He can't have best of both worlds. Enjoying dream sequences with Akshu and projecting his anger, frustration by doing marriage rituals with Arohi.
