Abhi asking Aarohi for marriage, is it seriously out of place?

First, I will like to clarify, we have yet to see the episode... So this will be just on the glimpse of Abhimanyu asking Aarohi for marriage we got on sbs.

Okay, so we got to know Harshvardhan Birla has fixed the alliance with Aarohi. And we also know, Abhimanyu has rejected Aarohi once.

Yeah, I know Aarohi is a shitty personality but consent is consent. He may have done it ,or may be not even if someone else was there but here it's absolutely necessary because it's him who has rejected her on tilak. His family had the consent then too. If it was not Aarohi, there would not have been a baggage of him rejecting the girl before... So only parents talk could have made sense.

So him asking her is like asking if she is doing it on her own or not. That is she okay to be with a person who has already rejected her? She have the right to decide.

He has lost the battle... For him there is nothing to fight. Toh ab log uske zindagi ke saath football bhi khelein usko fark nahi pad Raha hai. All he is, is now a dead corpse.

I just hope writer gives him dialogue like this "Ms Aarohi Goneka, main tumse pyaar nahi karta aur main shayad kabhi kar bhi na paun par main izzat karunga. No matter what you will be given the luxury and respect as the daughter in law of Birla house. I have rejected you and there's no denying that... So if you say No, I have no problem with it."

It will just make sense to me a lot more. It will still show how he respects a woman consent even when he is heartbroken, angry, lost the hope and everything else.

P.S. Uttkarsh sir, do come back to the show though. As early as possible.

Haan people are disturbed because they're taking it as a proposal but we also have to think that it isn't a romantic proposal like he isn't bending on his knees and giving her a flower and saying I love you..he's just asking for her consent & even if she rejects he has no problem with it..knowing how desperate arohi is she quickly said yes and the deal is done..abhimanyu doesn't love arohi but he also doesn't hate her YET he will finally start hating her once he gets to know about her lies and manipulation and her treatment towards akshara ..that's what this track is for ..for abhimanyu to discover arohi's real face till then he'll obviously give her the respect a woman deserves.

Exactly...even I didn't feel it was out of place...he looked pretty cold while asking that . It was more like a formality ..and it is basic that someone will ask

Even if he says to her that I don't love you and I might never love you but you'll get all the respect etc How is it fair to Arohi? Yes, he's being honest and he somewhere he feels bad for Tilak misunderstanding and consent is consent. He wants to be sure that she wants to get into this. But isn't it still wrong to crush a girl who must have had dreams of having a loving husband. Isn't it wrong to get into a relationship when he's so heartbroken and so angry.

He had spoken of undying love he had for Akshu right in front of Arohi just a few weeks back. And now he's saying I don't love you and I might never love you (if he says this. We don't know what he says). Why would any girl go for this? What's in it for Arohi? Isn't he suspicious about why she's agreeing so quickly? She's not getting his love so what is in it for her?
