Abhimanyu 🥺 my heart just keeps breaking for him. He has been put in tough spot and just continues to be an emotional wreck. Now he's just imagining Akshara 💔 She is both his pain and relief. He literally is at the breaking point that he will now do anything his mom wants him to do which is to get married. I don't see how Abhimanyu does not show up at the Goenkas asking for Arohi's hand in marriage Unless he somehow finds out the truth before all of this. Then there is a matter of convincing Akshara to just let go of this family happiness and go for your own happiness.
I know many have been getting upset with the Goenkas and how they are treating Akshara but she is the one that has been silently sacrificing herself. She is making those decisions by herself. They do not know anything about what is going on. Truth be told I think if she was honest and told the family she had feelings for Abhimanyu at the very beginning she would be married and in the Birla household. But then we wouldn't have much of a story to watch.
I keep telling myself the end will be worth the wait. So far the characters have not done anything wrong in my eyes. I understand where Akshara is coming from. She is pushing Abhimanyu away to try and end this chapter. She is in just as much pain as he is. But emotionally she is stronger than him. She's had to bear a lot while growing up and dealing with Arohi's daily guilt trips and tantrums. There is no doubt it's messed with her subconsciously that she may feel Sirat Ma's death was because of her and so she gives in at times to Arohi's wishes and whims. There is also Sirat Ma's dying wish for her to take care of her sister. So she has a lot of baggaging going on. Also, it isn't like she knows what is going on at the Birla household that Manjari and Harshvardhan want to bring Arohi back into the picture. Then there is a matter of fate due to the wishes made on that last day of the trip. Abhimanyu is tied to Akshara now. One way or another they will always be brought back together.
The story is setting up parallels between Akshara and Abhimanyu's families. We know there are is some big secret that Abhimanyu knows about his father. I wonder whatever it is explains why Abhimanyu loves his mother so much. That this woman has had to hide this secret and bare it for the sake of keeping peace in the family while the others do not know anything about it. She takes care of the family and house but is constantly disrespected by her husband and her sister. It would be interesting when Abhimanyu finds out the things that Akshara has had to deal with that it just makes him fall even more in love with her. Not because she did things for him (this current track) but her ability to give everything for her family just like his mother.
This journey Abhimanyu and Akshara is just starting. It's going to be worth it in the end. If anything Harshad has just been blowing me away again and again with his acting. And Pranali has been doing a great job as well. I always look forward to their scenes even if they are not in the same frame.
