I think that is true after a point. But we are also the victims of our upbringing and socialisation. So does Akshara know how to love herself. Isn’t this what she was talking about to Anuoama in the first episode?

It was round about the time the whole tilak drama was happening or before that writer made that comment. It has only been few weeks since that tilak drama, so maybe in the coming track akshu will be shown opening up her feelings for abhi

A hundred percent true. Her family will know she's hurt only when she speaks rather than they reading her mind.
