To be honest, that is repeated behaviour she has shown that is one thing I don't like. Many have commented on that aspect in this forum.

The change in plans and lack of clarity on when and where meant that a rock band was pitched into service. So almost every song, including Ghar More Pardesia was converted into a rock song. The only thing to point out that those stats displayed above are 2 days before the first event at Calgary. At that point of time the quality of the band would not have been known.

So while it is true that the limited number of accompaniments would have impacted the overall experience of the audience, it is also true that in general the response was lukewarm anyway, even before the band issue became apparent.

Now organizers are being careful. I heard for UK tour they asked SMP to choose her songs and music arrangement for her songs so that they can get band ready for it. Its really welcoming sign. SMP will have full control on her performances than others doing it. I guess it might be same with others. So future tours will be better.

I still think that the best shows are with the Girish Vishwa band. I have watched many Idol shows on YT when they travel abroad. All foreign bands are limited in ability and variety. It restricts what songs you can present. They just don't have the exposure.
SMP should be fine, they are better tuned to her choice of songs.

Honestly I'm not following their Canada tour anymore.

Hmm..I think its a mix of all POVs ..all seem believable.

Anyways we r living in unprecedented times and unforseen situations..people r trying to work things out in best possible scenarios.

Hope things r better in 2022
