He probably meant with a fluency required for good acting. If he didn't have that already it's probably because AB sent him to boarding school in Switzerland.

I don't think AB thought Abhi would flop - he most likely genuinely believed Abhi would be a star because of his pedigree instead of emulating the hard work if his parents.
