Okay ladies, today I am in a very vella mood. So, apni boriat door karne, I am initiating a discussion on

"Why you think AryLie could be the end game and not AdiLie??"

Poll karna easy hai, but bahut saare polls ho chuka hai. This is just a fun discussion. So, let's hear your theories and insights.

Quiting news ko prank bol kar she crafted a new ML (thoda same same but different from her previous ones) completely opposite of the existing one & brought him in as the VILLAIN but showed his softer side plus gave enough clichés to split the audience in 60:40 in his favour within a few weeks🤣 Ab dheere dheere web series ka news, Sumbul ka cryptic post fir shayad kuchh din me Tata bye bye. Thanks for the tag! Following are my reasons

1. ASR = Gul's Typical ITV hero.

While I agree I haven't seen Imlie before Aryan's entry I have made it a point to understand the story in detail and watch past clips. I also knew vaguely the storyline since my feed used to be bombarded with promos and clips from this show. As far as I understand Adi is not a typical ITV male. He is not a grumpy, extremely rich businessman with a horrible/traumatic past. Aryan is that. He is the charm and if Gul is even remotely smart she would not waste such characterisation on a side character, she would not use what has been her ML's in various ITV shows and even key to success as a passing character.

2. Arylie's cliche moments

Arylie have had so many cliche moments in just 15 episodes, while Adilie have had barely any. They have had romantic moment no doubt but most of them were not the cliche ones like what Arylie have been given. And the ITV audience is now used to these moments and this is what they find romantic... she would not waste things like this on a couple that will not be main focus.

3. The symbolism

If Arylie marriage was not in the books, that griha pravish scene would be a waste... and all this ritual wale symbolism is something ITV loves. Why do that if marriage is not in the cards? Moreover, Ganpati was shown when he was wrapping the dupatta around Imlie, why would Ganesh be shown if there is no future? God symbolism is powerful in ITV. Ideally it would not be wasted on a couple that is not meant to be because why would the gods bless a mismatched couple?

4. Rumours surrounding Gashmeer

For a long tome rumours have been making the rounds that Gashmeer wants to leave. While he denied those rumours, he has been talking about the role taking an emotional toll on him and he has also signed a web series. It was clear the audience 300 episodes in would not accept another actor as Adi...especially when Gash has done such a fantastic job embodying the character. The best alternative was bringing a new ML

5. The TRP/ ITV trend of 2021

The flavour of this season is love triangles. All shows with this trope have been doing well in terms of TRP. Looking at precedence (Anupamaa, Udaariyaan) the shows grew in TRP when a new ML was introduced after the firsts character was completely ruined. In order to pull imlie up in the ranks this could have been a strategic move to bring Aryan in and create Arylie, shifting the focus to them as the main couple.

Now, lets assume the original intention was not that. But seeing how well the audience/fd has taken to this they may decide that Arylie is more worth it than Adilie.

Disclaimer: It could very well be that Gul is trying to keep everyone happy and all the cliches and symbolism is just lollipops to keep TRP's high. This is what I think. I could be completely wrong.

Shaayad didi ko aur didi ke dimaag ko kuch zyaada credit nahi mil raha 🤪

But jo bhi ho, theory achhi hai! I really hope Arylie is endgame!
