Itne saare refusals ke baad bhi Adi ne us "shak" pe dwell nahin kiya - it was still more like offhand bakwaas to him and he still seemed to believe that Imlie wants to be with him agar yeh sab anniversary planning kar raha tha.....lol

But now, all these incidents have managed to come racing back in his memory through the catalyst of the divorce papers.....that has led him to believe ki all that he was seeing but then trying to dismiss all along must have been the truth only.....that Imlie doesn't want to be with him, she prefers the companionship of someone else now, isliye divorce papers bhi bhej diye.......cuz socha jaaye toh he's still not accusing Imlie of an EMA.....lol no, he's accusing her of choosing someone else....ismein marital, extra-marital ka angle toh aaya hi nahin vis a vis "character assassination".....he's not saying to Imlie ki how can you be with another man when you are married to me? He's saying to her ki how could you choose someone else and end our love/marriage like this? All his dialogues are about his devastation that Imlie doesn't love him anymore, that she considered their rishta a bandhan that she has been insisting on wanting to be freed of. And yeh sab far-fetched nahin for him to think given how she was talking to him ever since she left the house.....at every point she conveyed to him that she doesn't want to be around him.....toh it had to lead to him being like she must have meant it.....lol

I also think some element of self-loathing will enter Adi's mind sooner or later ki woh tha hi itna bura, that is why Imlie left him.....lol

Ay you just said it all I have legit aur kuch nahi kehne ko but yeh baatein bohat detail nain hai again isko samjhne ke liye blindness ka chasma uttarna padega.. jo hoga nahi

Adi ja dukh is simply imlie chose someone else and thinks he isn't worth her in any which way after his constant tries that he ain't enough for her. That has been consistent he always has said ke wih bas imlie ke kaabil hona chahta hai aur kuch nahi and imlie till date was indeed tum kaabil ho what makes you think you aren't but suddenly she is like na yous are the sole reason for every pareshani and difficulty in my life and go away and I have been only putting up with you for all this whole toh what is adi supposed to think..or how is he supposed to react..

Thank you AY for specifying this, because I was tired of reading and seeing everyone assuming that now ADI is doubting Imlie's character or accusing her that she is in an EMA with another man.

Adi right now is feeling like he has been abandoned by the one person he felt would be there with him through life and death. The woman who would once run through bullets for him, has pushed Adi to the point to belive that she prefers to depend on strangers rather than give him a chance to make things right between them. So him assuming that she has moved on and has chosen someone else is more along the lines of him feeling that she has abandoned him.

See his POV is that the girl who once thought their relationship was SM ka aashirwad, so much so that despite wiping off all the marital symbols always called Adi her husband. Even when he was jealous of Prakash, his contention was that she get married to him and settle down. Jo ladki us baat ko lekar was pissed at him, that she chose to send him divorce papers felt yo him like the end of the world - something even her burning down the symbols that he treasured in her did not do.

So I still hold on to the hope that his worst assault on her will him acknowledging that she doesn't exist for him or that he congratulated her relationship with Aryan - either of these things can get the reaction from Imlie that we saw in the precap. I am pinning my hopes on that to hopefully avoid further assassination on his character, jo pata hai waise bhi hone wala hai, but hopefully thoda kam ho.

@bold: This....I think this is an under-noticed/under-discussed part of this entire situation and why it's come to this point.....Adi's emotional vulnerability when it comes to Imlie and Imlie's inability to understand that articulating their relationship as something jo woh BARDAASHT kar rahi hai is not going to create any sense of security. I do feel that after a point, Imlie just got so mentally exhausted from trying to make him see M's truth that she kinda lost her ability to articulate to him what she really wants.....and Adi ka funda whole time yehi raha ki I don't even care about M so why are we discussing her....lol.....is saari khichdi ke chakkar mein, Imlie ya toh bhool gayi or wasn't able to explain that ultimately she does want to be with him cuz she loves him. Woh ek baat kahin kho gayi in the daily repeated routine of Adi running after her, Imlie coldly telling him to get lost repeatedly, and then now suddenly being like main toh waapis lapakne hi waali thi😕😆

Last two epis se yeh sense aa rahi hai ki Imlie is having a kind of delayed realization that she cannot live without Adi....uska toh kaam mein bhi mann nahin lag raha without Adi and all her achievements are feeling hollow without Adi to share them with.....is sab mein rather than doing some self-reflection about the fact that SHE burnt the MS and walked out on him saying she will never return, instead of remembering that he did come to take her back many times, she's busy thinking he's forgotten their anniversary😕😆....and now she will think that he was just busy doing shak on her all along isliye divorce papers de diye......lol

Itni khichdi banaa di hai ki ab sab log bhool jaayenge how often Imlie has made him feel like the sole cause of all problems in her life.....baaki sabse toh aadat hai Adi ko constantly blames/cursing sunne ki....but Imlie is his anchor - jab woh hi ise daily aise feel karvaane lag padi like he's some curse in her life....as if he has forcibly tied her to him....toh phir he was bound to unravel.

If this whole mess started cuz Adi didn't think before uttering that Q that day, then this whole mess also got worse with the words Imlie used to retaliate in the subsequent weeks - constantly making him feel like his love was some ehsaan/bojh in her life, that she'd rather be homeless than even talk to him etc. etc.. And they are welcome to say what words they want to, provided they then stick to it rather than flipping on their words in a few days and being like oh tumne mujhe chhod diya.....lol cuz hard fact is that Imlie walked out that day first....SHE left HIM, that too after declaring that everything is over....but now it will all be twisted to make it appear as if he's the one leaving her cuz he signed the divorce papers......lol

@bold: +1, Aps. Like I was saying some days back, it's a crisis of faith.....Adi built his faith in their marriage/ relationship on top of Imlie's faith.....cuz her faith was ekdum ATAL for so long. She was the cornerstone always repeating ki sab SM ki marzi and aashirwaad hai....she believed in their marriage for so long that her faith compelled him to believe in her faith implicitly too that they are bonded together by a higher power. But sadly there were some gaps in understanding as we are now realizing. Faith is a beautiful thing, but it doesn't always bring full understanding I guess.

For example, Adilie's relationship went through a phase where she was dependent on him for where she stayed in the city....this was because of the forced marriage and her inability to go back to PD, but because of the unresolved guilt/angst from that time on both sides I'd say (Adi's guilt that he didn't give Imlie her rightful status as his wife pehle, and Imlie's pain that she stayed like a naukraani in apna hi sasuraal), they are still struggling to emotionally reconcile with that past.....and that is why a person like Malini can come in to twistedly paint Imlie as someone constantly looking for support systems to make her way. That is what she was able to do in this situation vis a vis ASR-Imlie.....helped also in large parts by the already existing ego issues between Adilie where Imlie refused to give a straight answer to Adi and he took it extra hard that she'd rather listen to a stranger who demeans her than talk to him.

They both love each other immensely....but they still have a lack a lot of understanding between them as has been proven by this devolving in the last few weeks. They were able to forge understanding when it was about managing Malini as the complicated but "well intentioned" baggage of their lives.....but the whole game flipped on them when Malini was able to exploit both their character traits to use against them and it exposed underlying cracks that may otherwise have been papered over with love.

I still feel that all they both really need is that assurance of love from each other....Imlie has to give Adi that assurance back first cuz she has done a lot to erode it ever since she left the house....Adi's mind isn't going to function without that and he's only going to get more self-destructive aise.....while Adi will need to understand that Imlie isn't going to comprehend his love right now without that assurance of trust/faith from him. He needs to ASSURE her - not just make declarations....lol

Funnily enough, it's feeling like the chicken and egg situation 😆.....Imlie wants Adi to trust/have faith in her....but Adi builds his faith on Imlie's faith - and Imlie's faith itself is shaken right now....lol toh without Imlie's faith, Adi ka faith bhi kahaan se aayega?😆.....again, I'm talking about Imlie ka baseline faith which used to be like this overarching umbrella for everything - it didn't have any exceptions for the M situation....lol but right now there are cracks in Imlie's faith - she's herself been shaken up on the M angle since a while and that is what has also led to the eroding of many things.....otherwise we wouldn't be seeing an Imlie today with no reaction to random guy constantly snatching her dupatta.....this is not the baseline Imlie whose faith was implacable and greater than anything life could throw her way....she never needed some guy to tell her suraj ki roshni kaise dekhni hai....this is an Imlie unmoored from her faith and that is why Adi is also unmoored from life itself now cuz he drew faith from her faith.....even when Imlie didn't support him at many points vis a vis wanting to tell the truth, he still used to anchor himself to her faith....that faith was always bigger than both of them....and that is the faith that is sadly in crisis these days.
