I want to blame direction, editing and camera crew more than the actors tbh.
The same scene in SBS angles looks intimate and romantic vs the actual scene in show.
Take for example, the car seat belt scene.
They take long shots when not needed and never do single frames of good scenes for SAIRAT and give their solo closeups all the time breaking continuity.
Other shows, we might have to watch the clip more than once to figure out what is different or wrong with it, but in Ghum, everything right from BD is visible in precap itself. They are so shameless.
The main issue is direction and camera angles. Both are rarely in the same frame, so even if they are close, they seem apart...

Isse acha bhai behen hi bana dete...btw Neil hugs his Aayi better with so much emotions...No direction needed there đ
Unfortunately where other shows do publicity and get articles around the lead pair and their on and off screen chemistry, this show's PR and articles only focus on the real life relationship of the male lead with one of the other actors and repetitive articles on the actor apparently getting hate for relationship with male lead. It's nonsensical and now to make things worse sairat's story is getting very bad with repetition of virat's same old bringing third wheels in his marriage with sai on the basis of flimsy promises.

Ek tarah se achcha hi hai. When we said that that thread discusses personal life of actors, please shut it down, tab close karke reopen kiya. With blessings of God almighty, IF and everyone concerned, I guess since the topic of this thread is real, discussion on real couple is allowed by following rules of IF. đ€Ł
I donât normally post here and had started watching this show since Jan. Only because of Sairat and how their love story is portrayed without over the top romantic scenes which we see in every other show. Also Kudos to the hard working team behind the scene! Actors may be the face on the screen but it take so much effort by the numerous people working so hard in the background. I just loved acting skills Ayesha brought and improved upon. I am sure she learnt a lot from Neil. Truly great actors. Ayesha is so professional I admire her.
However, I have to admit Neil is a good actor but every single time trying to sideline your co actor just because his fiancĂ©/wife works in same place. All the shows leads give interviews together and so much offscreen friendships. They are all married too! Itâs not like he is the first actor getting married. I get it no one can force making reels or be on SM with your coactor, thatâs not part of their job but seriously I havenât seen Neil and Ayesha on any single reel together. Itâs the mutual respect you should have for your colleagues and for the sake of the hardworking team he can do some SM activity but that starplus has to force it on him. Every time I want to quit watching this show because of his shenanigans i think of the so many people working behind the scenes, Kishore mam, and Ayesha still watch it for them. Ayesha respects Neil but I havenât seen a single article or a gesture from Neil in appreciating Ayesha. Why is IF not taking Neilâs interview asking how lucky he is to have such great coactor who is a newbie and learning acting skills at such amazing pace that has truly made this show popular. Why are other team members being interviewed to tell/praise Ayesha more. All I see is IF articles that talk about Neil and his personal life.
I watch this show only on and off, and nowadays only to watch Ayesha as
a) Her acting has improved drastically đđ»đđ»
b) Her wardrobe too has improved drastically. đ„°đ„°
I like Aishwarya's acting but seriously can't stand the ML anymore. I think it's high time they replace him to break this conundrum. He can get another show easily. And Ghum would be saved by a new, impartial ML.
Honestly, I am tired of the current ML. It feels like he only came here to find a wife and is staying here to make a living.
Rival channel's top show had this scene where ml takes care of fl because she got shot.. That scene was thousand times beautiful than Virat crying during Ajinkya drama.. The remorse and pain was visible the way he was holding and hugging his wife..Direction plus zero awkwardness..
Ghum affected because of off screen drama and mostly because of shoddy direction
Whats this rival show called đ
Udaayia..
Started watching it recently... Have to say they have tried so hard to reach here..good direction, dialogues and editing in every department it's far better than ghum..
ML is a natural artists.. There are more bashing tweets for him but the dude handled it coolly ..now they got a new popular hero for FL so it's getting high trps
