They should have shown Akshara in his heart and mind ans he is trying to focus on Arohi...but it seems as if his mother's word has affected him and now Arohi is in his mind and when Akshara comes in front of him he gets confused.

Me thinking same.I am unable to connect to this week's scenes.

They just need a two line explanation and we will be sorted. Abhi just needs to explain that actually he is not going to shift his affections to Arohi. He just wants something to focus on to help him move on form Akshu. Without that those lines the writers are doing him a disservice because they are making a guy who didn’t believe in love or marriage jump form one sister to the next.

I think he is just trying coz Akshara is not giving him any scope of hope + his mum is emotionally blackmailing him.. but he is evidently struggling 😉
