8th Dec - As expected Nipa didn't get any scolding from anyone except Rudra n Dhara .. Everyone were worried about Nipa whereas Mithai was the one on gunpoint..

What was more irritating was Nipa didn't even realize the blunder she had caused until Dhara scolded her.. She was still thinking her "only mistake" was pointing the gun at the wrong man 😞

Rudra rightly pointed out to Sid that it was all his mistake at the 1st place.. Plus he didn't said a word to Nipa for the blunder she did but he was too much strict with Mithai for her mistake... Coz Nipa is Sid's sister n daughter of the house whereas Mithai is DiL..

And again Sid's logic was the most illogical thing I've ever heard 🙄 He was strict with Mithai coz it was easy to discipline Mithai so that she doesn't fall in Tess trap but Nipa won't listen so it's pointless to discipline her 🤔 Kichu matha mundu bujhini ami ei logic er.. Oh n Rajeeb agreed with Sid's logic... Whereas Sree too said Sid was harsh with Mithai...

And finally Sid pointed out to Tess that even she didn't complete any of her punishments that included Sankh bajano, ulu deoa or dhuno deoa 😐 So she has no right to ask for Mithai's punishment extension coz she was talking... Som asks Tess to stop coz this is becoming a childish game now..

Precap - Sid bought a cardigan for Mithai but she's in no mood to gole jao now n gave him an earful 😏 Jak dekheo bhalo laglo jodio we all know this won't even last for half a day 🙄

I actually really liked today's episode - I felt it was balanced in its overall approach

Yes I agree that Nipa should have been chastised more but I think they were trying to show this situation in contrast to how the situation with Mithai should have been dealt with

Dhara and Rudra were on point today 👍🏼 Especially Rudy really gave it back to Siddy buoy today and showed him how a third party would perceive his treatment of Mithai. Sree also echoed the same thing ar tate babu r tonok noreche 😛

See no matter what your justification is after a certain point you cannot just humiliate or disrespect another adult and expect to get away with it. Even parents cannot scold or discipline children after they reach a certain stage of adulthood in the same way that they did when they were young.

Sid is right about one thing - he cannot scold Nipa in the same way..1 because he himself has instigated her foolish behaviour on more than one occasion and 2 because she is his sister and therefore in his eyes on an equal level as him and she is more than capable of giving it back to him

Sid cares for Mithai maybe even loves her in his way but he has started taking her and her feelings for him for granted. Let's see if this maan-abhimaan brings some growth in his understanding and feelings

Disgusting!!! Disgusting!!!!

These favourite words of Sid are the only thing that comes to my mind after watching this episode.😡

What kind of family is this? No one said even one word to Nipa. How the hell?? Why did Dhara and Rudra have to be the one to explain things to her?

What is this logic that because Nipa is not someone who listens to other people, so no one will even try to make her see her faults?? What a horrible way to be! Kalke if she starts taking drugs, will no one try to stop her because she does not listen to others??!! How is this situation any different? She could have died. Mithai could have died. Sid, Rudy, Dhara could have been seriously injured. Rudra could have been suspended. How is this still classified as chelemanushi? And the cherry on the cake, that girl has no regret. Still thinks everything would have clapped and praised her if she pointed the gun at the right person.🤪

Just a side note, mithai calls Nipa didi. So is she really older or is it another isshpecial way of addressing people? Also Nipa was all set to be married to Ratul. How is a biye boyeshi meye also a chelemanush meye?

I really hated mithai when she was side hugging Nipa and mathaaye hath buliye dichhilo while Dhara and Rudra were speaking facts. How is she supposed to learn from her mistakes if no one tells her she is wrong? I am beyond annoyed by all this.

I also disagreed with Rudra that Sid is the most to blame here. I think Ratul is the one most at fault. Shuru dike when everyone was discouraging her from her love, Ratul was the person who encouraged her to be on this path. Even with Dhara, he has been supporting her with this IPS nonsense. Others at least disregard her, but Ratul actively encourages her.

This is a good take on the episode. Obviously a very different one from mine.

But this is a good take only in the larger context. Obviously, Sid is biased towards his family and horrible and rude to mithai. Always has been. I was also super annoyed at him by his high-decibel shouting at mithai post the party. It will never, in million years, cross his mind to scold Nipa like that.

Like two wrongs don't make one right. Similarly, just to show Sid's bias and mithai's obhimaan, they cannot brush off such a huge blunder of Nipa under the rug.

There must be some kind of consequence for Nipa, is all I am asking.

Sid er character growth and him seeing mithai as an equal, that is going to take a loooonggggh time. Eto siggiri se miracle hobe na. So keep expectations low.😆

@Red - A typical chhaposha family where DiLs are expected to be at their best behavior especially if she's from a lower middle class family like Mithai n sons, daughters can even get away with murders 😐

@Blue - Like I said absolutely illogical logic 😞 Kono maane hoy na.. Meye ato boro blunder korlo but siblings are trying to cover instead of informing the parents.. Only Rudra, Dhara n Sandy were behaving normal..

@Green - Mithai's isshpecial way of addressing people.. Everyone is her Dada, Didi, Kaku, Kakima etc etc. Nipa is the youngest.. Mithai n Sree are of same age..

@Purple - Actually Kakai n Sid if I remember correctly were the only ones who were not ready for Nipa's marriage coz she was immature.. Thammi too didn't agree in the beginning.. But the wedding was fixed coz Lata aunty was super excited to get Nipa married off to a "Bideshe settled chhele" ..

@Yellow - Absolutely agree with this part.. Ratul encouraged her the most n even today when Rudy was angry with Nipa, Ratul was the one to stop him..

And at the end Nipa's attitude after causing a big blunder was just wow 😐 She has absolutely no regrets... It's pretty much clear that she hasn't learnt any lesson yet n will land in bigger trouble in future or maybe coz trouble for someone else..

Watched the episode today. I had a mixed feeling.

- Mithai is always blamed for everythng, Nipa is never blamed. Its horryfying seeing ppl saying "ja hobar hoe geche..." kind of dialogues. Nobody telling Nipa she s wrong. Because of this Nipa has turned out like this🤢

-Sid's sudden accusation to Tess, looked like he took a stand for Mithai, but it was probably not. Sid actually havent understood Mithai well. He is still faraway from regarding Mithai as his equal. I blame Mithai for that.

People will respect you only when u respect urself. Mithai does not have any self respect. Whatver was there, it washed away in drain after marriage.

- Only Rudy, Dhara and Sandy understood the seriousness of the situation. Rest ppl mindset was to cry/make tea/go home rest/ forget it.

- Nipa's character was super se upar. She has no regret. I feel, she needs therapy on a serious note.

I fully agree that Nipa should face more severe consequences than the light scolding that she got from Rudra and Dhara but at the same time I kind of understand why the other family members didn't react as much today.

Firstly they were all quite shaken, especially the sisters. As we had predicted yesterday they were more concerned with her health and safety rather than the actual ramifications of what happened

Secondly, no elders have been involved in the situation. Siblings, especially cousin ones who are more or less in the same age category can only go so far in terms of disciplining you.

Also given Nipa's unpredictable temperament, I think the siblings are a bit wary of chastising her. Remember that perfume bottle incident where Sree had scolded her and she had reacted very badly and gone to her mama r bari. If she reacts badly and goes on to do something even more unpredictable then it will be difficult to keep the situation under wraps.

Mithai was right in that one regard - Nipa can do aro kando if provoked but I was also annoyed by her constant petting and stroking. Eto ashkara dewa tao khub bhool 😡

From what I think this situation with Neepa is not over yet. It will be interesting to see how Rudra behaves with her from this point onwards. I think the biggest lesson for her would be if he behaves sternly with her...for a character like her Rudra's maturity will be the biggest foil

Also, I think there is going to be some twist regarding the revelation of this situation in front of the family...I think either Tyas will do koot kachali and try to blame it on Mithai or that guy who Nipa pointed a gun at might factor in somehow. They kept showing closeups of his face. ❓

Sorry for the extra long posts guys

@Red - Totally forgot to mention this part.. Thank you Anjani for bringing up this topic.. Even though I agree with everything Sid said about Tess's incapability to complete her tasks, so she had no right to talk about Mithai's punishment ... But it was more like Sid's "doya dekhano" towards Mithai coz she went ahead n stood on gunpoint to save Nipa... Another "Rinsodh"...

@Bold - Completely agree... High time Mithai should develop some self respect..

Ekdom! Could he not have said all this earlier in the day when Tess was literally taunting Mithai?

And even more annoying why does he keep giving so much importance to Tess? He keeps lecturing Mithai to ignore her but then goes on to do paye pa diye jhogra whenever she pops up. Just to appease Tess he staged a whole Bichar Sobha. Then he plots and plans as if Tess's challenge is some World War waiting to be won. Tess er faande to sobche beshi oi fese gelo

At this point I really wish they would show some introspection for Sid. His character development especially in regards to Mithai makes no sense

I am honestly a little disgusted at how they have swept Nipa’s idiocy under the rug - guns are not a toy - an innocent person could have died. This not something you make light of. Comedy bujhi - but to say Nipa ke kichu bola jabe na because she is going to act out???? Is completely illogical. Sorry about the rant - I wish that someone had the brains to point out that there is a middle path and that extreme is not the answer
